The WooCommerce Subscriptions & Recurring Billing Engine turns your store into a recurring-revenue machine — memberships, subscription boxes, retainers or SaaS-style plans — without locking you into a third-party SaaS that skims a percentage of every renewal.

This is a build-to-order plugin, not an instant marketplace download. After purchase, ECOSIRE engineers build it to your store's exact requirements, then install, configure and support it directly on your WordPress site. We deliver a real plugin in wp-content/plugins/ that registers a subscription custom post type, schedules renewals through WP-Cron (or a server cron / Action Scheduler for reliability at volume), and writes against the WooCommerce data layer with full HPOS (custom order tables) compatibility.

What it does: automatic recurring billing across your existing gateways using stored payment tokens and the gateway's tokenization API; free trials and sign-up fees; dunning with smart retry on failed payments via scheduled woocommerce_scheduled_subscription_payment runs; and proration and plan switching when a customer upgrades or downgrades mid-cycle. How long until the plugin is live on my store, and how is it delivered?

This is a build-to-order plugin, so there's no instant download. Typical delivery is around 2 to 4 weeks depending on how many gateways, plan types and customizations you need; simpler single-gateway builds are faster. We build on a staging copy, you review it, then we install and activate it on your production WordPress site. You receive the actual plugin files and full source — you own them.

What about ongoing support and updates after delivery?

Because ECOSIRE wrote the plugin, we support it. The build includes a support window for bug fixes and configuration help, and we offer ongoing maintenance to keep it compatible as WooCommerce and WordPress release updates (including HPOS changes and gateway API changes). You're never stuck waiting on an anonymous marketplace vendor — you talk to the engineers who built it.

Does it work with my existing payment gateway?

In most cases, yes. Recurring billing requires a gateway that supports tokenization or stored credentials (Stripe, PayPal, Authorize.Net and many regional gateways do). We integrate against your gateway's recurring/tokenization API. If your gateway can't store a token for repeat charges, we'll tell you that up front during scoping rather than after purchase.

Will it conflict with my theme, WPML or a multisite setup?

It's built entirely on WooCommerce and WordPress hooks, actions and filters — never by editing core — so it's upgrade-safe and theme-agnostic. We test against your actual theme on staging. WPML and multisite are supported when your store requires them; just flag it during scoping so we configure the build accordingly.

How is this different from a generic subscriptions plugin from a marketplace?

An off-the-shelf plugin gives you a fixed feature set and generic defaults you then have to bend to fit. We build to your exact requirements — your gateway, your dunning cadence, your proration rules, your REST API needs — install it for you, and support it directly. You also avoid the per-transaction fees that hosted subscription SaaS platforms charge: this is a one-time build fee and the renewals are yours.

Can customers manage their own subscriptions, and can I see everything as an admin?

Yes. Customers get pause, resume, upgrade, downgrade and cancel controls inside My Account, plus the ability to update their saved payment method. As admin you get a subscriptions list in wp-admin with status filters and bulk actions, full renewal-order history, and optional REST API access so you can pull subscription state into a CRM or BI tool.
