Mercado Pago for WooCommerce is a build-to-order payment gateway that ECOSIRE designs, builds, installs and supports directly on your WordPress site — it is not an instant download from WooCommerce.com or the WordPress.org repository. We take Mercado Pago's official Checkout API and Checkout Pro flows and wire them into your store the way your catalog, currencies and tax rules actually work.

The plugin registers as a proper WC_Payment_Gateway subclass, so it appears natively under WooCommerce → Settings → Payments with its own process_payment(), refund support and a structured settings screen. It is fully HPOS-compatible (declares custom_order_tables support via the before_woocommerce_init hook) so it works whether you store orders in posts or the new custom order tables.

Your LatAm shoppers get what they expect at checkout: card installments (cuotas/parcelas) with issuer-aware interest display, Pix instant payment with a QR code and copy-paste code for Brazil, boleto bancário with a printable voucher and due date, and Mercado Pago wallet checkout for logged-in account holders. No. This is a build-to-order product. After purchase, ECOSIRE builds the gateway, installs it on your WordPress site, configures your Mercado Pago credentials and webhooks, and runs a verified test transaction for each enabled method. You receive a working, documented gateway — not a generic ZIP to figure out alone.

How long does delivery take?

Typical lead time is about 5 to 10 business days from when we receive your site access and Mercado Pago account details. A standard single-country setup (for example, Brazil with Pix, boleto and cards) lands at the shorter end; multi-country setups (BR + AR + MX) with extra document and currency rules take longer. We confirm a firm date with you before starting.

What ongoing support and updates do I get?

Every build includes a post-launch support window for fixes, webhook issues and questions. Yes. The gateway declares compatibility with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (custom order tables) via the before_woocommerce_init hook, so it works whether you use the legacy post-based orders or the new tables. It registers as a standard WC_Payment_Gateway, so it behaves correctly with standard WooCommerce checkout and most themes and builders. We test against your actual setup before go-live.
