WhatsApp Order Notifications & Chat for WooCommerce turns the channel your customers already live in into your order-comms backbone. For stores in COD-heavy markets — South Asia, MENA, LATAM — email open rates are dismal and SMS is expensive. This plugin fires order updates, OTP confirmations, and recovery nudges straight to WhatsApp, where they actually get read.
This is not a one-click WordPress.org download. ECOSIRE builds the plugin to fit your exact store, then installs and configures it on your WordPress site, connects it to your own WhatsApp Cloud / Business API account, and supports it after launch.
What it does technically. The plugin hooks into WooCommerce order lifecycle actions — woocommerce_order_status_changed, woocommerce_thankyou, and per-status transitions (processing, completed, cancelled) — to dispatch approved WhatsApp message templates through the official Graph API. It is fully HPOS-compatible (the new high-performance order tables) and falls back cleanly on legacy post-based orders. Sends are queued through Action Scheduler / WP-Cron so checkout never blocks on an API call, with retry and back-off on rate limits.
COD OTP verification injects a one-time-code step before order placement, writing verification state to order meta so you can filter out fake or mistyped numbers before they hit your fulfilment team. Abandoned-cart recovery persists cart sessions and schedules timed template messages (e.g. 1h / 24h) via cron. The floating click-to-chat widget is theme-aware, mobile-first, and respects WPML/Polylang locale so the prefilled message matches the customer's language.
All settings live under a dedicated wp-admin screen — template mapping, business-hours routing, opt-in handling, and delivery logs. Every webhook and template name is documented in a handover doc so your team isn't locked in.
