The Xero Accounting Sync Connector for Shopify is a private integration that ECOSIRE designs, builds and installs specifically for your store — not a one-click App Store download. We tailor it to your chart of accounts, tax rates and payout structure so your books reconcile to the cent.

The connector listens to Shopify webhooks (orders/create, orders/paid, refunds/create, payouts) and reads the Admin GraphQL API to capture every order's gross sales, Shopify Payments fees, shipping, discounts, gift cards, taxes and refunds. Instead of dumping thousands of noisy invoices into Xero, it posts summarized daily journals — one clean entry per day per store — so your Xero bank reconciliation for each payout matches a single offsetting transaction.

Because it's build-to-order, we map your real accounts during a discovery call: which Xero tax rates correspond to which Shopify tax lines, how COGS should be split, and whether you want per-order or daily summarization. Multi-currency and multi-store setups are handled with per-store account mapping and Xero's base-currency conversion.

Authentication uses OAuth 2.0 for both Shopify and Xero, with tokens stored encrypted and refreshed automatically. We deploy on ECOSIRE-managed infrastructure (or yours), run a historical backfill of past payouts, and validate the first reconciliation with your accountant before handover.
