Sales Commission & Rep Management is a Shopify app ECOSIRE builds to order for your store — it is not an instant App Store download. After purchase, our team installs a custom embedded app (Shopify OAuth, Admin GraphQL API access) into your store and configures the commission engine around the way your sales team actually works.
The app subscribes to orders/create, orders/paid, orders/updated, refunds/create, and orders/cancelled webhooks so every order is attributed and scored the moment it happens. Reps are mapped to orders through the attribution signals you already use — order tags, discount codes, staff/POS-attribution, or customer-to-rep assignment stored in order and customer metafields. No more spreadsheet reconciliation at month-end.
The commission engine supports per-rep and per-team rules, tiered rates (e.g. escalating percentages once a rep crosses a monthly threshold), product- and collection-specific rates, and flat or percentage components. When a refund or cancellation lands, clawbacks reverse the matching commission automatically so you never overpay.
Each rep gets an automated commission statement for every period, an embedded performance leaderboard, and finance gets a clean payout export (CSV/XLSX) that maps straight into your payroll or accounting system. Everything reads live from Shopify, scoped to your store, with admin role controls.
Because it is purpose-built, we model your exact commission policy rather than forcing you into a generic template. ECOSIRE handles the build, the install, data validation against historical orders, and ongoing support and updates as Shopify's API versions evolve.

How long does it take to build and install the app?
This is a build-to-order app, not an instant download. Typical delivery is about 2 to 3 weeks from when we have your commission policy and store access. Simple single-tier setups can be faster; complex multi-team tiered policies with historical backfill take a little longer. We confirm a firm timeline after a short scoping call.
What ongoing support and updates are included?
Every build includes a post-launch support window for bug fixes and configuration tweaks. Because the app uses the Admin GraphQL API and versioned webhooks, we also maintain it as Shopify deprecates API versions so it keeps working. Longer-term support and enhancement plans are available if you want continued changes to rules, reports, or integrations.
How are reps attributed to orders?
We use the attribution signals your store already relies on: order tags, discount/coupon codes tied to a rep, Shopify staff or POS attribution, or a customer-to-rep mapping stored in metafields. During onboarding we pick the most reliable signal for your workflow and validate it against historical orders.
What happens to commissions when an order is refunded or cancelled?
The app listens for refunds/create and orders/cancelled webhooks and automatically reverses (claws back) the matching commission, either in full or pro-rated for partial refunds, so a rep is never paid on revenue that didn't stick.
Can it handle tiered and product-specific commission rates?
Yes. The engine supports tiered rates that escalate once a rep crosses a revenue threshold, plus product-, variant-, and collection-specific rates, and per-rep or per-team overrides. We model your actual policy rather than forcing a generic template.
Do reps get their own statements and visibility?
