Shopify Payments and most off-the-shelf gateways force you to abandon the Authorize.Net merchant account you already underwrite, settle, and reconcile against. The Authorize.Net Gateway Connector keeps that account in place and wires it into your store so cards are authorized and captured through Authorize.Net's AIM and CIM APIs while orders, refunds, and fulfillment continue to live natively in Shopify.
Charges run through your existing Authorize.Net merchant account via the AIM (Advanced Integration Method) transaction API
CIM (Customer Information Manager) card vault stores reusable customer payment profiles for returning buyers
PCI-friendly hosted fields using Authorize.Net Accept.js so raw PAN data never touches your theme, keeping you in SAQ A-EP scope
AVS (Address Verification) and CVV verification on every authorization with configurable decline rules
Partial captures, full captures, and authorization voids mapped to Shopify order and transaction events
Recurring billing support backed by stored CIM profiles for subscriptions and installment plans
This is not an instant App Store install. ECOSIRE builds the connector to your exact configuration — your API Login ID and Transaction Key, your capture policy, your fraud rules — then installs it on your store via a custom Shopify app using OAuth and the Admin GraphQL API, and supports it after launch.
The integration uses PCI-friendly hosted fields (Authorize.Net Accept.js) so raw card data never touches your theme or our code — your PCI SAQ A-EP scope stays minimal. Returning customers are charged against CIM customer payment profiles (the card vault), so repeat checkout and recurring billing work without re-entering card details. Every authorization runs AVS and CVV verification with rules you define, and operations staff get partial captures, voids, and refunds mapped to Shopify order events.
Order state stays in sync through Shopify webhooks and order/transaction metafields, so your existing reporting, multi-location fulfillment, and reconciliation flows keep working. Because it is built to order, we can match the precise behavior your finance and risk teams expect — something a generic gateway app cannot do. You own a clean, documented integration tied to your Authorize.Net account, installed and maintained by a team that knows it.
You already have an underwritten Authorize.Net merchant account with established settlement, reserves, and reconciliation, and you do not want to re-apply or move funds processing just to sell on Shopify.
You bill customers on a recurring schedule and need stored card profiles (CIM) so renewals and installment charges run without manual card re-entry or a separate billing tool.
You need partial captures, voids, AVS/CVV decline rules, and transaction IDs written back to order records so reconciliation and chargeback handling match the controls your team already runs.

Typical delivery is 10 to 15 business days from the point we receive your Authorize.Net sandbox and production credentials and confirm your capture and fraud rules. The schedule covers a build phase, sandbox testing against the Authorize.Net test environment, and a coordinated production cutover. Complex requirements such as multi-currency handling or custom recurring schedules can extend this, and we confirm a firm date during onboarding before any work starts.
Every build includes 30 days of post-launch support covering bug fixes, configuration adjustments, and help with any gateway response or settlement question. Because the connector relies on the Authorize.Net API and the Shopify Admin GraphQL API, we also offer an optional ongoing maintenance plan that keeps the integration current with Shopify API version deprecations and Authorize.Net changes. We will quote that separately based on your store's complexity.
Yes. That is the entire point. The connector authorizes and captures through your existing Authorize.Net account using your own API Login ID and Transaction Key. Settlement, reserves, statements, and reconciliation stay exactly where they are. We do not move your funds processing or require a new merchant application.
The checkout uses Authorize.Net Accept.js hosted fields, so raw card numbers are tokenized in the customer's browser and sent directly to Authorize.Net. Sensitive card data never passes through your Shopify theme or our code, which keeps your store in PCI SAQ A-EP scope. Stored cards for returning customers live inside Authorize.Net's CIM vault as payment profiles, not in Shopify or in our app.
Shopify restricts third-party payment gateways at native checkout, and generic apps give you fixed behavior you cannot change. A build-to-order connector lets us match your exact capture policy, AVS/CVV decline rules, recurring schedules, and reconciliation field mapping, and gives you a documented integration tied to your account with a named team supporting it. If an off-the-shelf app already meets your needs, we will tell you honestly rather than sell you a custom build.
