The Aramex Shipping Connector for Shopify is a build-to-order integration: ECOSIRE develops it against your Aramex account credentials and your store's fulfilment workflow, then installs it as a private app on your Shopify store. This is not an instant App Store download — after purchase we scope your requirements, build, test against the Aramex Shipping & Rate APIs, and hand over a working integration with a typical lead time of about two weeks.

Once live, your team creates Aramex shipments straight from the Shopify order timeline — no re-keying addresses into the Aramex portal. The app calls the Admin GraphQL API to read orders and write fulfilment, generates Aramex AWB labels (PDF) for printing, and schedules pickups without leaving Shopify. Live checkout shipping rates are returned through Shopify's Carrier Service API so customers see accurate Aramex pricing at checkout, and tracking numbers auto-sync back onto the order via fulfillmentCreate, triggering Shopify's native shipping-confirmation emails.

Built for MENA and cross-border merchants, it supports Cash on Delivery (COD) and multi-piece shipments, and respects Shopify multi-location inventory so the correct origin location ships each order. Aramex credentials are stored server-side, and order events are driven by webhooks (orders/create, orders/fulfilled) so nothing depends on a tab staying open.

Because it's custom-built, edge cases specific to your business — service-type rules, weight/dimension defaults, free-shipping thresholds, account number per location — are handled in scope rather than worked around. ECOSIRE owns the build, the installation and ongoing support.

Is this an instant download from the Shopify App Store?

No. This is a build-to-order app. After purchase, ECOSIRE scopes your requirements, builds the integration against your Aramex account and your store's workflow, tests it, and installs it as a private app on your Shopify store. There is no instant App Store install.

How long does delivery take?

Typical lead time is about two weeks from the point we have your Aramex API credentials and have confirmed scope (service types, COD rules, origin locations). Heavier customisation can extend that, and we give you a firm timeline before we start building.

What do I need from Aramex to get started?

You need an active Aramex account with API access — account number, account PIN, username/password and account entity/country for the Aramex Shipping and Rate Calculator APIs. We configure these securely server-side during the build; you never paste them into the Shopify theme.

Do I get ongoing support and updates after launch?

Yes. The app is built, installed and supported by ECOSIRE. Launch includes a support window covering bug fixes and keeping the integration compatible with changes to the Aramex API and Shopify's Admin GraphQL API. Extended support and enhancements are available on request.

Will it show Aramex rates at checkout and update tracking automatically?

Yes. Live Aramex rates are returned through Shopify's Carrier Service API so customers see accurate shipping cost at checkout, provided your Shopify plan supports carrier-calculated rates. Once a shipment is created, the Aramex AWB number is written back to the Shopify order as a fulfilment, which triggers Shopify's native tracking email to the customer.

Does it handle COD and multi-piece shipments?

Yes. Cash on Delivery is supported with the COD amount passed through to Aramex, and orders can be sent as multi-piece shipments when a single order ships in several boxes. The exact COD and packaging rules are configured to match how your store operates.
