Wholesale and B2B merchants still receive most of their orders the old way: a PDF purchase order attached to an email, a scanned supplier invoice, or a phone photo of a receipt. Someone on your team retypes every line into Shopify by hand — and that is where the wrong SKU, the wrong quantity and the mispriced order come from.
AI OCR Order & Invoice Capture is a Shopify app that ECOSIRE builds, installs and supports specifically for your store. It ingests documents (forwarded email, manual upload, or a watched inbox), runs OCR plus AI parsing to pull out the supplier, dates, references and every line item, then matches each line to a real Shopify variant using exact SKU, barcode and fuzzy text matching. Nothing posts automatically: every parsed document lands in a human review and approve queue where your team corrects mappings and confirms quantities before anything is created.
On approval the app uses the Admin GraphQL API to create draft orders (for inbound customer POs) or write multi-location inventory restock adjustments (for supplier invoices and receipts). Parsed totals, document references and confidence scores are stored on order and product metafields, and a normalized line-item payload can be exported to your accounting or inventory system.
Because it is build-to-order, the app is scoped to your real documents and suppliers — not a generic template. This is not an instant Shopify App Store download. After purchase, ECOSIRE collects sample documents, configures the OCR templates and SKU-matching rules, installs the app on your store via a private OAuth flow, and hands it over working. The $249 one-time price covers the build and installation; ongoing parsing accuracy and Shopify API updates are covered under a support arrangement we agree with you.

Is this an instant Shopify App Store download?
No. AI OCR Order & Invoice Capture is build-to-order. After purchase, ECOSIRE collects sample documents from you, configures the OCR templates and SKU-matching rules for your catalog, and installs the app on your store through a private OAuth flow. You receive a working, store-specific app rather than a generic listing you self-install.
How long does delivery take?
Typical delivery is about 2 to 4 weeks from the point we receive your sample documents and store access. Simple single-supplier setups land toward the shorter end; multi-supplier catalogs with messy or varied invoice layouts and an accounting export take longer. We confirm a firm timeline in writing once we have reviewed your documents.
What happens to ongoing support and updates after go-live?
The $249 covers the build and installation. After go-live we agree a support arrangement that covers accuracy tuning as new supplier document layouts appear, fixes, and compatibility updates when Shopify changes the Admin GraphQL API or required scopes. We will not silently let parsing drift; the app is maintained against your real document flow.
Does it post orders and inventory changes automatically without a human?
No, and that is deliberate. Every parsed document lands in a review-and-approve queue with the source image, the parsed fields, and per-line confidence scores. Your team confirms SKU mappings and quantities before anything is created. Only on approval does the app create a Shopify draft order or write a multi-location inventory adjustment. You can raise the confidence threshold over time, but a human stays in control of what gets posted.
What if a supplier uses part numbers that do not match my Shopify SKUs?
That is the common case and the app is built for it. Matching runs in layers: exact SKU, then barcode/UPC, then fuzzy text matching against product titles and supplier part numbers. When you correct a mapping in the review queue, the app remembers it for that supplier, so the same part number maps correctly on future documents without re-teaching.
Where does the parsed data go and can I get it into my accounting system?
Approved documents create Shopify draft orders or inventory restock adjustments, and the parsed references, totals and confidence are written to order and product metafields. A normalized line-item payload can also be exported to your accounting or inventory system via CSV, JSON, or a webhook to an endpoint you provide. We scope the exact export format with you during the build.
