Most bicycle retailers run three overlapping motions at once: over-the-counter and floor sales, a service-and-repair workshop, and parts/accessory inventory that has to stay in sync across all of it. A fresh Odoo install gives you the raw building blocks — point_of_sale, sale_management, stock, repair, product — but out of the box they are generic. Nothing knows that a bike is sold by serial/frame number, that a tune-up is a labor line plus consumed parts against a customer's bike, or that your POS categories should mirror your shop floor. Teams end up either hand-configuring for weeks or bolting on a generic sample module that never matches their catalog, tax setup, or workflow.
This is a build-to-order business-configuration package: ECOSIRE assembles a working, opinionated bike-shop setup on top of Odoo and tailors it to your shop during scoping. Technically it ships as a proper Odoo module — a __manifest__.py declaring dependencies on point_of_sale, sale, stock, and repair, with demo/seed data loaded through XML data files, POS product categories and payment methods configured, and product templates (product.template) structured for bikes, frames, components, and accessories. Where your process needs more than configuration, we extend cleanly: new fields on product.template or repair.order (e.g. frame number, wheel size, groupset) declared on models.Model subclasses, @api.depends computes for derived values like margin or service turnaround, QWeb reports for repair job cards and workshop tickets, and ir.model.access.csv plus record rules so counter staff, mechanics, and managers each see only what they should. Backend and POS views are delivered as XML/OWL so they feel native, and automated actions can drive reminders such as service-due follow-ups.
Because it is built as a normal addon, everything is portable and upgrade-aware. It targets Odoo 17.0, 18.0, and 19.0, works on Community or Enterprise (we flag any capability that genuinely needs Enterprise, such as certain accounting or field-service features, rather than assuming it), and integrates with the rest of your stack through Odoo's XML-RPC/JSON-RPC API for imports, e-commerce sync, or external reporting. You keep the source; there is no runtime lock-in and no per-seat surcharge from us.
Delivery is made-to-order. We start with a short scoping call, agree the exact catalog structure, workshop flow, tax/localization, and any integrations, then build against that scope and hand it over installed on your staging first. Typical delivery is 2–4 weeks from confirmed scope, depending on how much data migration and customization is in play. Pricing starts from $349 (indicative, single-company base scope); multi-company setups, deeper localization, larger product/inventory data migration, and extra integrations increase the quoted scope. You receive a fixed quote after the scoping call — the from-price is a starting point, not a firm figure.
Runs a single-location retail-plus-workshop business and wants Odoo pre-configured for how a bike shop actually sells and services, without spending weeks wiring POS, repairs, and inventory by hand.
Needs a solid, source-available bike-retail baseline to drop into a client engagement and customize, rather than rebuilding the same POS-and-workshop configuration from scratch each time.
Oversees several outlets and a central workshop, and needs consistent product categories, access rules, and reporting across locations with room to grow into multi-company.
Owns the Odoo stack and cares about clean, upgrade-safe code, proper `ir.model.access` security, and API integration with e-commerce and accounting rather than fragile manual setup.
| 基準 | エコシエール | カスタムビルド | 競合他社 | オドゥー ネイティブ |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fit to your bike-shop workflow | Tailored during scoping to your catalog, workshop, and tax setup | Fully bespoke but you specify and manage everything | Generic sample data that rarely matches your real shop | |
| Time to a working setup | 2–4 weeks from confirmed scope, installed on staging | Unpredictable; depends on your developer availability | Minutes to install, then weeks of manual rework | |
| Source code ownership | Full source plus git repo handover, no lock-in | You own it, if the developer delivers clean code | Often obfuscated or license-gated per instance | |
| Workshop / repair handling | `repair.order` flow wired to bikes, parts, and labor | Whatever you brief and pay to have built | Usually POS-only; repairs left generic or absent | |
| Security & access roles | `ir.model.access.csv` + record rules per staff role | Depends entirely on developer diligence | Broad default groups, rarely shop-specific | |
| Odoo version & edition coverage | Built for 17.0/18.0/19.0, Community or Enterprise | Whatever target you commission | Often pinned to one version; upgrades cost extra | |
| Support after launch | Post-go-live support window + optional maintenance | Retainer with your developer, if available | Ticket queue, variable SLA, version-tied | |
| Total cost predictability | Indicative from-price, fixed quote after scoping | Open-ended day-rate risk | Low sticker price, high hidden rework cost |
No. This is a build-to-order service, not an existing marketplace download. ECOSIRE configures and builds the module against your specific catalog, workshop flow, and tax setup after a scoping call, then installs it for you. You end up with your own tailored version and the source code.
Typically 2–4 weeks from confirmed scope. The scoping call defines exactly what we build; simpler single-company setups land toward the shorter end, while heavier data migration, deeper localization, or extra integrations push toward the longer end. We install on staging first for UAT before production cutover.
Pricing starts from $349 as an indicative single-company base scope. That is a starting point, not a fixed price. After a short scoping call we send a fixed written quote reflecting your actual requirements — multi-company, extra integrations, localization depth, and data migration volume all increase the quoted scope.
Every build includes a post-go-live support window for defect fixes and configuration questions, and you receive the full source in a git repository so any Odoo developer can maintain it. We can quote ongoing support or version upgrades (e.g. moving from Odoo 18.0 to 19.0) separately as a maintenance arrangement.
We build for Odoo 17.0, 18.0, and 19.0, on Community or Enterprise. Most of the package works on Community; where a capability genuinely needs Enterprise (certain accounting or field-service features), we flag it during scoping rather than assuming your edition.
Yes. Because it is a standard Odoo addon it exposes the usual XML-RPC/JSON-RPC API, so we can wire in e-commerce sync, supplier catalog imports, or external reporting/BI. Specific integrations are scoped and quoted as part of the engagement.
No. You own the source code and get the git repository with full history. There is no runtime license check from us and no per-seat fee. Any competent Odoo team can extend or maintain the module later, though we're happy to keep supporting it.
