Tap Payments Gateway for Magento 2 is a build-to-order extension that wires your Magento 2 or Adobe Commerce checkout into Tap Payments so a single merchant account covers the payment rails GCC shoppers actually use: mada, KNET, Benefit and Meeza local debit, Apple Pay and Google Pay, Visa / Mastercard / Amex cards, and Tabby / Tamara buy-now-pay-later routing across KSA, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Egypt.
This is not an instant Adobe Commerce Marketplace download. ECOSIRE builds the module to your store's exact version, theme and checkout (native Luma, Hyvä, or a headless PWA/GraphQL front end), installs it on your environment, and supports it after go-live.
The extension ships as a proper module under app/code/Ecosire/TapPayments, registering payment methods through Magento's payment gateway command pool (Gateway\Command, Http\Client, request/response builders) rather than hacking core. Configuration lives in Stores → Configuration → Sales → Payment Methods, gated by admin ACL, with separate test (sandbox) and live API keys stored encrypted. We implement server-to-server charge creation, 3-D Secure redirect handling, webhook capture for asynchronous BNPL and redirect methods, and a di.xml-wired value handler for authorize-only vs authorize-and-capture flows.
Refunds, partial refunds and voids run through Magento's credit memo and order-invoice lifecycle, calling Tap's API so finance never reconciles by hand. Front-end method visibility is filtered by store view and customer country, and plugins/interceptors keep your checkout's existing logic intact. Everything is delivered with source you own, a sandbox walkthrough, and a post-launch support window.

No. This is a build-to-order extension. ECOSIRE builds the module against your exact Magento version, theme and checkout, then installs it on your environment. There is no instant Adobe Commerce Marketplace download or self-serve link — you get source you own plus hands-on setup.
How long does delivery take after I order?
A standard build on native Luma or Hyvä checkout is typically delivered and installed within about 5 to 10 business days, depending on your Magento version, whether it is Open Source or Adobe Commerce, and any headless/PWA requirements. We confirm a firm timeline after a short scoping call and access to a staging environment.
What ongoing support and updates are included?
Delivery includes a post-launch support window for bug fixes and compatibility issues. For headless or PWA front ends we wire the required GraphQL payment mutations and webhook handling rather than relying on the Luma checkout. We scope this up front so the integration matches your architecture.
Do you handle refunds and partial refunds?
Yes. Refunds, partial refunds and voids run through Magento's native credit memo and invoice lifecycle, which calls the Tap API behind the scenes. The Tap charge id and card last4 are stored on the order, so finance can reconcile settlements without leaving the admin.
