This is a build-to-order Magento 2 extension, not an instant Adobe Commerce Marketplace download. After you order, ECOSIRE builds the module for your exact store, installs it on your staging environment, validates it against your live Delhivery One credentials, then deploys to production and supports it.

The extension ships as a proper Magento 2 module under app/code/Ecosire/DelhiveryShipping with a clean registration.php and module.xml. The carrier itself is a custom online shipping method implementing Magento\Shipping\Model\Carrier\AbstractCarrierOnline and CarrierInterface, wired through di.xml so it appears natively in Stores > Configuration > Sales > Shipping Methods. At checkout it calls the Delhivery One API to return live, serviceable rates by destination pincode, weight and payment mode (prepaid vs COD), with graceful fallback rates when the API is unreachable.

Order fulfilment is handled through service contracts and an admin controller behind a dedicated ACL resource: generate the Delhivery AWB and download the shipping label (PDF/ZPL) from the order view, raise pickup requests, and push status back to Magento. A cron job polls Delhivery tracking and updates shipment tracking numbers and order comments. An observer on sales_order_shipment_save_after keeps Magento and Delhivery in sync. COD orders carry the collectible amount to Delhivery and a reconciliation view matches remitted COD against orders.

Everything is exposed through clear admin configuration (API token, client/warehouse name, pickup location, weight units, debug logging) and works on both Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce 2.4.x. How long until the extension is delivered and live?

Because this is built to order for your specific store, typical delivery is about 1 to 2 weeks from when you provide your Magento version details and Delhivery One API credentials. We build on a sandbox, validate live rates, AWB generation and COD against your account on your staging environment, then deploy to production with your sign-off. Complex requirements (headless/PWA, multi-warehouse, unusual COD reconciliation) may add a few days, which we confirm before starting.

What ongoing support and updates do I get after launch?

Every build includes a post-launch support window covering bug fixes and install-related issues. Because Delhivery occasionally changes their One API and Magento ships 2.4.x security patches, we offer an ongoing maintenance option for API-change updates, version upgrades and new features. You own the source code, so you are never locked in, and you can also have your own team maintain it.

Does this work on Adobe Commerce as well as Magento Open Source?

Yes. The module targets the Magento 2 framework shared by both editions and is tested on Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce 2.4.x. We confirm your exact version and PHP version during the build so di:compile, setup:upgrade and static-content deploy all pass cleanly on your environment.

How are COD orders and reconciliation handled?

For COD orders the collectible amount is passed to Delhivery when the AWB is created, so the rider collects the correct cash. The module adds a reconciliation view that matches the COD amounts Delhivery remits back against the original Magento orders, giving your finance team an auditable trail instead of manual spreadsheet matching.

Will customers be blocked from ordering to non-serviceable pincodes?

Yes. The extension calls Delhivery's serviceability endpoint by destination pincode. You can configure it to hide the Delhivery method or surface a clear message at checkout for non-serviceable destinations, and to apply a configurable fallback rate if the API is temporarily unreachable so checkout never silently breaks.
