Braintree Payment Gateway for Magento 2 is a build-to-order extension that ECOSIRE designs, develops, installs and supports directly on your Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce store. This is not an instant Adobe Commerce Marketplace download — we build the module to fit your store's checkout, theme, currencies and compliance posture, then deploy it on your environment and stand behind it.

The module ships as a proper Magento package under app/code/Ecosire/BraintreeGateway, wiring Braintree's PHP SDK into Magento's payment service contracts and gateway command framework (payment/gateway CommandPool, ValidatorPool, Http\TransferFactory). Credentials and behavior are exposed through a dedicated system.xml configuration section under Stores → Configuration → Sales → Payment Methods, with sandbox/production toggles, encrypted merchant keys, and per-website scope.

At checkout, customers pay with credit/debit cards, PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay and Google Pay through Braintree's Drop-in / Hosted Fields, so raw card data never touches your server — keeping you in scope for PCI DSS SAQ-A. 3D Secure 2 runs with dynamic challenge for SCA/PSD2, and vaulting lets logged-in customers store payment methods for one-click reorders and subscriptions. Multi-currency presentment is supported with Braintree settlement across its supported countries.

No. This is a build-to-order extension. ECOSIRE builds the Braintree module to fit your specific Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce store, then installs it on your environment and supports it. There is no automated Marketplace download — you get a tailored, deployed integration instead of a generic package.

How long does delivery take?

A standard Braintree integration is typically delivered in about 5 to 10 business days after we receive your Braintree sandbox/production credentials and access to a staging environment. Headless/GraphQL storefronts, heavy checkout customization, subscription/vaulting flows or multi-website setups can extend that timeline. We confirm a firm lead time during scoping before you commit.

What ongoing support and updates are included?

The price includes a post-launch support window for bug fixes and configuration help. We keep the module upgrade-safe across Magento 2.4.x minor releases and Braintree SDK updates; ongoing maintenance, version upgrades and feature additions beyond the initial window are available as a support retainer or per-request engagement.

Does this keep us PCI compliant?

The module uses Braintree's Drop-in UI / Hosted Fields, so cardholder data is captured directly by Braintree and never hits your Magento server, which supports PCI DSS SAQ-A eligibility. ECOSIRE is not a QSA and does not certify your compliance — but the integration is built specifically to keep card data out of your environment so you stay in the lowest-scope SAQ category.

Does it work on Adobe Commerce and headless / PWA storefronts?

Yes. The module targets both Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce, and we wire the GraphQL and REST checkout paths so it works on PWA Studio and other headless storefronts. We confirm your exact Magento version and storefront architecture during scoping and build against it.
