This is a build-to-order Magento 2 payment integration for Telr, the UAE-based acquiring gateway widely used across the Middle East and South Asia. It is not an instant Adobe Commerce Marketplace download — ECOSIRE engineers the module, installs it on your environment, and supports it after launch.

The extension ships as a proper Magento 2 module under app/code/Ecosire/TelrPayment, registered through module.xml, registration.php, and a Gateway Command/Adapter built on Magento's Magento\Payment\Gateway service contracts. Telr is exposed as a payment method via config.xml + system.xml (admin store-scoped configuration with encrypted credential storage in core_config_data). The checkout flow uses Telr's hosted payment page so card data never touches your servers, keeping you out of heavy PCI-DSS SAQ scope.

We wire the full transaction lifecycle: order placement, redirect/return handling, server-to-server transaction status verification, and a webhook/return Controller to reconcile authorized, captured, declined, and cancelled states. 3D Secure is enforced through Telr, and multi-currency is mapped to your Magento store views so MENA (AED, SAR, KWD, QAR, BHD, OMR) and South Asia (PKR, INR, BDT, LKR) currencies settle correctly. Card and supported wallet methods are surfaced at checkout.

Operationally, admins issue refunds and partial refunds directly from the Magento admin via credit memos (Gateway Refund command → Telr API), with di.xml-wired logging, admin ACL on the configuration section, and order-comment audit trails. How long until the Telr integration is live on my store?

This is build-to-order, not an instant download. Typical delivery is about 1–2 weeks from receiving your Telr credentials and Magento environment access: module build, sandbox validation, then a supervised go-live on your live acquiring credentials. Complex multi-currency or multi-website setups may add a few days; we confirm a firm date after a short scoping call.

What do I need to provide before you start?

An active Telr merchant account (store ID and authentication key), your Magento 2.4.x / Adobe Commerce version and access to a staging environment, the list of currencies and store views to enable, and confirmation of whether you run Luma or Hyvä checkout. We validate everything in Telr sandbox first.

Do card details ever touch my Magento server?

No. The integration uses Telr's hosted payment page, so cardholder data is captured on Telr's PCI-DSS-compliant environment, not your servers. This keeps you in the lightest PCI scope (broadly SAQ-A). We never store PAN or CVV in Magento.

Can staff issue refunds without logging into Telr?

Yes. Refunds and partial refunds are issued from the Magento admin using standard credit memos, which call Telr's refund API through the module's Gateway Refund command. Every refund is logged and written to the order's comment history for audit.

What happens with support and Magento updates after launch?

Every build includes a post-launch support window for bug fixes and configuration help. Because it's a maintained custom module (not a black-box Marketplace extension), we keep it compatible across Magento 2.4.x patch releases and Telr API changes; ongoing maintenance beyond the included window is available as an optional retainer.
