This is a build-to-order Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce extension — not an instant Adobe Commerce Marketplace download. After purchase, ECOSIRE builds, configures, installs and supports a Jumia connector tailored to your catalog structure, country footprint and warehouse setup.
The extension ships as a proper Magento module under app/code/Ecosire/JumiaConnector, registered via registration.php and a versioned module.xml. It authenticates to the Jumia Seller Center / Vendor API using your seller credentials stored encrypted in core_config_data, gated behind dedicated admin ACL resources so only authorized roles can manage the connection.
Catalog publishing maps Magento attributes and categories to Jumia's category tree and required attribute sets, with bulk listing and per-SKU overrides. Inventory and price sync run through Magento's Multi-Source Inventory (MSI) service contracts and scheduled crontab.xml jobs, plus salesrule/price-aware plugins (interceptors declared in di.xml) so changes in Magento propagate to Jumia on a configurable cadence. Stock-reservation and salable-quantity events are captured via observers to avoid overselling.
Inbound, Jumia orders are imported as native Magento orders through a queue-backed consumer, with customer, shipping and Jumia Express handling normalized to your fulfillment workflow. Order status, shipment tracking and cancellations flow back to Jumia. Multi-country Africa operations (Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt, Morocco, Côte d'Ivoire and other Jumia markets) are supported via per-store-view or per-website configuration, each with its own currency, locale and country endpoint.
Everything is delivered with admin configuration screens, logging, a runbook, and a defined lead time. ECOSIRE handles installation on your staging and production environments and provides ongoing support and compatibility updates.

No. This is a build-to-order extension. After purchase, ECOSIRE builds the Jumia connector around your specific catalog, country footprint and fulfillment setup, then installs it on your staging and production environments. There is no instant Marketplace download or self-serve license key.
How long does delivery take?
Typical lead time is about 3 to 5 weeks from kickoff, depending on catalog size, the number of Jumia countries, and how much custom attribute mapping is required. After a short scoping call we confirm a firm delivery schedule with milestones for connection setup, mapping, the initial listing run, and go-live.
What ongoing support and updates are included?
The build includes a post-launch support window plus compatibility updates for the agreed Magento Open Source / Adobe Commerce version. If Jumia changes its Seller Center / Vendor API, or you upgrade Magento, ECOSIRE provides updates under a support agreement. Bug fixes within the warranty window are covered; new countries or new features are scoped as additions.
Does it work with Adobe Commerce as well as Magento Open Source?
Yes. The module follows standard Magento 2 architecture (service contracts, di.xml plugins, observers, cron, queue consumers) and runs on both Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce 2.4.x on supported PHP 8.x. Adobe Commerce features such as B2B or staging are accommodated during scoping if relevant.
How do you prevent overselling across Jumia and my store?
Magento remains the single source of truth. Stock is read through Multi-Source Inventory service contracts, and observers on reservation and salable-quantity events trigger sync so Jumia quantities track your real availability. Sync cadence, retry/backoff and conflict handling are configurable, and all activity is logged for auditing.
