The Fruugo Connector for Business Central is a build-to-order AL extension that connects your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central tenant to the Fruugo cross-border marketplace. It is not an instant AppSource download — ECOSIRE builds it for your specific catalog, currencies and warehouse setup, installs it as a per-tenant extension on your environment, and supports it after go-live.
The connector exchanges data with Fruugo's marketplace API and surfaces everything inside native Business Central pages. Job Queue entries run scheduled syncs so Fruugo orders import automatically as Sales Orders, mapped to the right customer template, item, currency and country. Multi-currency, multi-country product publishing pushes your items, descriptions and prices to Fruugo, while inventory and price sync keep availability accurate across every market you sell in.
Architecturally, we ship table extensions and page extensions to hold Fruugo identifiers (listing IDs, order references, country/currency mapping) alongside your existing Items, Customers and Sales documents — no separate sidecar database. Event subscribers on posting and shipment events write tracking numbers and carrier data back to Fruugo automatically, and returns are captured as Return Orders / Credit Memos. A dedicated permission set scopes who can run syncs and view marketplace data. Where you run Power Platform, sync state is readable via the BC REST/OData v4 API so you can extend into Dataverse and Power BI.
Because it is per-tenant, your AL source stays isolated to your environment, version-controlled by ECOSIRE, and upgraded as Microsoft ships new Business Central releases. You get a connector tailored to how you trade on Fruugo — installed, documented and maintained, not bolted on.

How long until the connector is live, and is this an AppSource download?
This is a build-to-order extension, not an instant AppSource install. Typical delivery is about one working week depending on catalog size, the number of Fruugo countries/currencies and any custom field mapping. ECOSIRE scopes your requirements, builds the AL extension, then installs and configures it as a per-tenant extension directly on your Business Central environment with Job Queue syncs running before handover.
What ongoing support and updates are included?
Every build includes a post-go-live support window for bug fixes and configuration help. Because it is a per-tenant extension, ECOSIRE keeps the AL source version-controlled and validates compatibility against new Business Central monthly/major releases. If Fruugo changes its API or you add countries, currencies or catalog rules, we extend the connector under a support or change-request agreement rather than you maintaining custom code yourself.
Does the connector store data outside Business Central?
No. Fruugo identifiers (listing IDs, order references, country/currency mapping) are stored on native BC records via table extensions — there is no separate sidecar database. Sync state is also readable through the BC REST/OData v4 API if you want to surface it in Dataverse or Power BI.
Can it handle multiple currencies and countries on Fruugo?
Yes. Multi-currency and multi-country selling is core to the design. Products publish with per-market prices and localized descriptions, imported orders map to the correct currency and ship-to country, and you can configure tax and rounding rules per Fruugo country so documents match local expectations.
How are returns and shipments handled?
Shipment and tracking write-back is automatic — event subscribers on BC shipment/posting events push carrier and tracking numbers to Fruugo. Fruugo returns are imported and captured as Return Orders or Credit Memos in Business Central so your finance team has an accurate, reconcilable record.
What do you need from us to start?
Access to your Business Central environment (a sandbox to begin), your Fruugo merchant/API credentials, a sample of your catalog with the countries and currencies you sell in, and your tax/shipping rules. We start in a sandbox, validate end-to-end, then deploy to production.
