Settlement matching reconciles each payout automatically — using reference, prefix and exact-amount strategies — and posts one aggregate fee/adjustment journal entry per invoice date so the books follow the matching principle. A backlog of thousands of historical orders and missing purchase orders was recovered to bring every payout to full reconciliation.
