At its core, the plugin hooks into WooCommerce order lifecycle events. When an order hits a status you nominate — processing, a custom status like wc-ready-to-pick, or a paid event — a woocommerce_order_status_changed action fires and the plugin compiles a pick list for that order, or queues it into the next consolidated batch.
