Veterinary Clinic Management

ECOSIRE builds a dedicated veterinary layer on top of Odoo's real strengths. We introduce a proper vet.animal model (species, breed, sex, date of birth, microchip number, weight history) with a Many2one to the owner res.partner, so one client can hold many animals and every appointment, invoice and treatment resolves back to both. Appointments become their own object with an @api.depends computed duration and a state machine (draft / confirmed / in_consultation / done), typed as consultation, vaccination, surgery or boarding, and surfaced in calendar, gantt and kanban views built in XML/OWL. Clinical work is captured on a treatment/consultation record that carries diagnosis notes, a prescription line model and the medications dispensed.

The vaccination engine is the heart of the module. Each vaccination record stores the vaccine product.product, the batch (stock.lot) actually used, the administered date and a computed next_due_date driven by a configurable protocol per species. A daily ir.cron (scheduled/automated action) scans upcoming due dates and fires owner reminders through Odoo's mail and mail.activity framework, so boosters are never silently missed. Dispensing a prescription optionally decrements medication stock through standard stock moves, so pharmacy inventory and expiry (lot) tracking stay honest. Boarding and kennel stays are modelled as date-ranged records with per-day billing that flows into a sale.order and native invoicing, and every clinical document — vaccination certificate, treatment summary, discharge sheet — is a QWeb PDF report you can hand to the owner or a referring vet.

Security is enforced the Odoo-correct way: ir.model.access.csv grants plus record rules so front-desk staff, vets and admins each see the right scope, and multi-branch clinics are isolated by company. Everything is exposed over Odoo's XML-RPC / JSON-RPC API, so a booking website, a pet-owner portal or a WhatsApp reminder bot can read and write animals and appointments. Because this is build-to-order, you do not download it and hope it fits.
