Label & Receipt Studio

Label & Receipt Studio is a made-to-order Odoo module that we build, install, and support for you. At its core is a WYSIWYG drag-and-drop canvas where a non-developer lays out text, barcodes, QR codes, lines, and images on a real label footprint, then binds each element to a field on any Odoo model — product.product, stock.lot, stock.quant.package, stock.picking, an employee badge, or a maintenance asset tag. Instead of producing a PDF, the designer compiles directly to native ZPL (Zebra) and ESC/POS command streams, so what the printer receives is device-language output at the head's true DPI, not a downsampled image. Barcode elements cover EAN-13, Code128, GS1-128, DataMatrix, and QR with live on-canvas preview; a server-side PNG render of the exact compiled output lets an operator confirm the label before a single roll is spent.

Technically, the module builds on base, web, stock, and barcodes, and follows Odoo conventions end to end. Templates are stored as first-class ORM records (models.Model) with a version history so you can duplicate-to-edit and roll back; field bindings resolve through the ORM so computed fields (@api.depends) and Odoo's translation layer both work — meaning a label's text follows the record's lang to give you multi-language output for free. Conditional blocks show or hide an element based on whether a bound field is set or empty; DPI and size presets (203/300 dpi, common Zebra and roll formats) sit alongside fully custom dimensions; and sequence/counter fields let you number labels within a batch. Access is governed with ir.model.access.csv and record rules, print actions can be wired to stock operations or triggered by automated actions, and templates export to portable files so a layout built in one database imports cleanly into another. It runs on Odoo 17.0, 18.0, and 19.0, Community or Enterprise, and integrates with external systems over the standard XML-RPC/JSON-RPC API.

Pricing starts from $299 (indicative, single-company base scope); additional models to bind, extra printer/DPI profiles, carrier-specific GS1 compliance work, deep localization, or high-volume template migration increases the quoted scope.
