You receive the AL source and the extension is registered to your tenant. Enhancements beyond the original scope are quoted separately, and we can move you onto a retainer if you want continuous changes.
+Will this modify the Business Central base application or break upgrades?
No. It is delivered as a per-tenant extension using AL table extensions, page extensions and event subscribers — the base app is never modified. This keeps you upgrade-safe; when Microsoft ships a new BC version we recompile and retest the extension against it rather than untangling customizations from the core.
