We model your menu as BC items with modifier groups, scheduling windows and price overrides, then expose them to a responsive web/mobile storefront through the Business Central REST/OData v4 API and a set of custom API pages. How long does it take to get this live, and is it really a custom build?
Yes — this is build-to-order, not a one-click AppSource install. After a short scoping call we typically deliver in roughly 3–6 weeks depending on menu complexity, your payment gateway and how much loyalty/promo logic you need. The flow is: scope your menu and tax setup, build the AL extension, deploy and test on your Business Central sandbox, then promote to production. You get a firm timeline in the proposal before any work starts.
How does it actually connect to Business Central?
We install a per-tenant AL extension directly on your Business Central environment. Your menu lives in BC as items with modifier and scheduling data via table/page extensions. The storefront reads that data through the Business Central REST/OData v4 API, and orders post back through custom API pages where AL event subscribers validate stock, pricing and tax before creating a Sales Order or POS ticket. There is no third-party middleware silo holding your data.
Will I keep paying commissions on orders?
No. This is your own branded channel — you pay your card payment processor's standard transaction fee and nothing else. There is no per-order commission to ECOSIRE or to an aggregator. The whole point is to recover the 15–30% that delivery marketplaces take.
What about ongoing support and updates after go-live?
ECOSIRE supports the extension after launch. Because Microsoft ships Business Central updates twice a year, we keep the extension compatible with your environment's version, fix issues, and can extend functionality on request. Support terms are agreed in the proposal — covering bug fixes, BC version compatibility and an SLA for response.
Can I run pickup, delivery and dine-in QR ordering all at once?
Yes. Each order type has its own fulfilment flow — pickup with prep-time slots, delivery with address and zone rules, and dine-in via QR codes that tie an order to a table. They share one menu and one BC posting pipeline, and you can enable or disable each type per venue.
Does it work with my existing payment provider and loyalty setup?
We integrate the gateway you choose (Stripe, Adyen or a supported regional acquirer) and reconcile payment status onto the BC order. Loyalty and promo codes are validated server-side against your BC customer ledger, so redemptions and balances stay consistent with the rest of your Business Central data rather than living in a separate system.
