Viva.com Smart Checkout for WooCommerce

Typical delivery is about 5 to 10 business days from the day we receive your Viva.com sandbox credentials and staging access. We build against your WooCommerce version and theme, install on a staging site first, run end-to-end test transactions, then deploy to production with you. Timelines depend on Viva.com account approval in your country, Apple Pay/Google Pay domain verification, and how custom your checkout is — we confirm a firm date during scoping. This is build-to-order, not an instant download.

Every build includes a 30-day post-launch window covering bug fixes, configuration help and any breakage caused by the integration. After that we offer an optional ongoing support and maintenance plan that keeps the plugin compatible with new WooCommerce and WordPress releases (including HPOS changes) and with Viva.com API updates. Because the plugin is custom-built for your site, updates are delivered by us directly — there is no public auto-update channel.

Yes. The gateway declares custom_order_tables compatibility so it runs cleanly on HPOS. For checkout, we support both the classic shortcode checkout and the block-based Checkout block; if you use blocks we register the gateway with the WooCommerce Blocks integration interface so Smart Checkout renders correctly. We confirm which checkout your theme uses during scoping.

Card data is handled by Viva.com's Smart Checkout, not by your server — sensitive details never hit your WordPress database, which keeps you in the lighter SAQ-A PCI scope. Credentials are stored in wp_options, webhooks are verified before any order state changes, and we follow WordPress security practices (nonces, capability checks, sanitised input). We do not store PANs or CVVs anywhere on your site.

We can enable the instant payouts option and surface local EU payment methods, but availability depends entirely on your Viva.com merchant account, your country, your currency and Viva.com's own approval and eligibility rules — these are set on their side, not ours. We configure the integration to use whatever methods and settlement options your account is approved for, and we tell you honestly which ones are and aren't available before we build.

An official off-the-shelf plugin only works if one exists for your exact Viva.com product and matches your theme, HPOS setup and EU method needs — and you still configure, test and maintain it. Building it yourself means learning the Viva.com API, webhook signatures, wallet domain verification and refund sync.
