SSLCommerz Gateway for WooCommerce is a build-to-order payment integration for Bangladeshi merchants who need a single, local checkout that covers cards, mobile banking (bKash, Nagad, Rocket), internet banking and EMI — all settled in BDT. It is not a one-click marketplace download. ECOSIRE builds, installs and configures the plugin on your WordPress + WooCommerce site, wires it to your live SSLCommerz Store ID and Store Password, and validates the full payment loop before handover.

Under the hood the plugin registers a gateway class extending WC_Payment_Gateway via the woocommerce_payment_gateways filter, so it appears natively under WooCommerce → Settings → Payments. At checkout it builds a session against the SSLCommerz hosted endpoint and redirects the buyer to SSLCommerz's PCI-DSS secure hosted page — no raw card data ever touches your server. On completion, the customer returns to your success/fail/cancel callback URLs, and an IPN listener (registered through woocommerce_api_* / a WordPress action hook) independently verifies the transaction with a server-to-server validationserverAPI call and a hash check before any order is marked processing or completed.

How long does delivery take, since this isn't an instant download?

This is build-to-order. After purchase ECOSIRE confirms your WordPress, WooCommerce and SSLCommerz details, then builds, installs and tests the gateway on your site. Typical delivery is a few business days depending on whether your SSLCommerz live credentials are already approved and how quickly we can access a staging or live environment. We start in SSLCommerz sandbox, then switch to live once test transactions pass.

What ongoing support and updates do I get?

Each build includes a defined post-launch support window for bug fixes and compatibility with new WooCommerce and WordPress releases (including HPOS changes). If SSLCommerz updates its API or you need new channels/EMI options later, we can extend support or quote a small change. You own the installed plugin on your site — there is no per-transaction fee from ECOSIRE.

What do I need from SSLCommerz before you start?

You need a SSLCommerz merchant account with a Store ID and Store Password (sandbox credentials are fine to begin). For go-live, your live store must be approved by SSLCommerz. We configure both sandbox and live modes and hand over where those credentials live in wp-admin.

Is card data stored on my WordPress site?

No. Payments complete on SSLCommerz's PCI-DSS hosted checkout page. Your server only sends the order amount and reference and receives a verified result via IPN and the return callback — no card numbers are ever stored or processed in WordPress, which keeps your PCI scope minimal.

Will it work with HPOS and my existing theme/checkout?

Yes. We build against WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (custom order tables) and declare the compatibility flag, and the gateway uses the standard WooCommerce payment and order-status APIs so it works with block and classic checkout. If you use WPML or multisite we account for that during the build.

Can I issue refunds from WooCommerce?

Yes. We implement process_refund() so you can trigger full or partial refunds directly from the WooCommerce order screen, which calls the SSLCommerz refund API. Refund availability is subject to SSLCommerz's own refund rules and timelines for the underlying channel.
