ShipStation Integration for WooCommerce connects your WooCommerce store to ShipStation so your fulfillment team works in one place instead of copying orders by hand. When a customer checks out, the plugin pushes the order — line items, shipping address, requested service, and customer notes — into ShipStation automatically, either through ShipStation's custom store XML endpoint or via the WooCommerce REST API, depending on your environment. Your team creates and prints labels across USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL and 30+ carriers, and the resulting tracking number and shipment status flow back into WooCommerce so the order is marked fulfilled and the customer gets their standard WooCommerce "Completed" email with tracking.
This is not an instant marketplace download. ECOSIRE builds this plugin to fit your store, then installs and configures it on your WordPress site and supports it afterward. Because it's built to order, we adapt it to your reality: HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage / custom order tables), classic post-meta orders, WPML or multisite, custom order statuses, and your specific carrier accounts and warehouse/store mapping in ShipStation.
Under the hood it uses proper WordPress hooks and filters (woocommerce_order_status_changed, woocommerce_new_order, scheduled syncs via WP-Cron or Action Scheduler), stores credentials and settings in a dedicated wp-admin settings screen under WooCommerce, and writes a full sync log so failed pushes can be retried rather than silently lost. API calls are authenticated and rate-limit aware, and tracking write-backs are idempotent so a retried webhook never double-fulfills an order.

How long does delivery take since this is built to order?
Typical delivery is about 5 to 10 business days from the time we have access to a staging copy of your site and your ShipStation account details. A standard order-push and tracking-write-back configuration is on the shorter end; heavy customization (many custom statuses, multi-warehouse mapping, WPML/multisite, unusual field mapping) extends it. We confirm a firm timeline in writing before any payment, and we build on staging first where one is available so production is never the test bed.
What ongoing support and updates do I get after delivery?
Every build includes a post-delivery support window for bug fixes and for keeping the integration working against WooCommerce, WordPress and ShipStation API updates. Because the plugin lives on your own site, you are never locked out and there is no per-seat license meter. After the included window, ongoing maintenance and enhancements are available as a simple support arrangement — we will quote it transparently rather than auto-charging you.
Does this work with HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage) and custom order statuses?
Yes. We declare HPOS compatibility and read/write order data through WooCommerce's order CRUD layer so it works whether your store uses the new custom order tables or classic post-meta. Custom order statuses are mapped explicitly during configuration — for example, your 'Awaiting Pick' status can trigger the push to ShipStation, and a ShipStation 'shipped' event can move the order to your 'Completed' or a custom 'Shipped' status.
Do I need my own ShipStation and carrier accounts?
Yes. ShipStation is a separate paid service and you bring your own ShipStation subscription and your own negotiated carrier accounts (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.). The plugin connects WooCommerce to your ShipStation account and uses the rates and labels available there; we do not resell ShipStation or carrier services. We handle the technical connection, store/warehouse mapping and field mapping.
What happens if an order fails to sync — will I lose it?
No. Every push and tracking write-back is logged, and failed syncs are retried automatically via WP-Cron / Action Scheduler. Any order that still cannot sync stays visible in the sync log so your team can re-push it with one click rather than discovering a missing shipment days later. The tracking write-back is idempotent, so retries never double-fulfill an order or send duplicate Completed emails.
Can you customize the order and field mapping for my workflow?
Yes — that is the point of a build-to-order plugin. We map your WooCommerce fields (gift messages, custom meta, weights and dimensions, requested service) into the corresponding ShipStation fields, and we map ShipStation events back onto your exact WooCommerce statuses. If you use WPML or run multisite, we respect per-site stores and per-language customer notifications during setup.
