Razorpay for WooCommerce (Pro) is an India-first payment gateway for WooCommerce that makes UPI the default path — intent (deep-link to GPay/PhonePe/Paytm on mobile), collect requests, and an on-page QR checkout for desktop — alongside cards, net banking and Paytm/PhonePe wallets. It registers as a proper WC_Payment_Gateway subclass via the woocommerce_payment_gateways filter, so it shows up natively in WooCommerce → Settings → Payments with its own API-key fields, webhook secret, and test/live toggle.

This is not an instant marketplace download. ECOSIRE builds, installs and configures the plugin on your WordPress site — wired to your live Razorpay merchant account, with the webhook endpoint registered (payment.captured, payment.failed, refund.processed, subscription.charged) against your WC-API/REST callback, HPOS (custom order tables) compatibility declared via FeaturesUtil::declare_compatibility, and idempotent order-status transitions so a retried webhook never double-completes an order.

How long until it's live on my store, and is this an instant download?

It is not an instant marketplace download. ECOSIRE builds, installs and configures the plugin on your WordPress site. Typical lead time is about 5–7 business days from when we receive your Razorpay API keys and staging/site access — faster for a straightforward single-site setup, a little longer if WooCommerce Subscriptions, multisite or custom checkout flows are involved. We confirm the exact date with you before starting.

What do I need to provide, and do I need a Razorpay account?

Yes — you need an active Razorpay merchant account (we wire the plugin to it, we don't create or own it). We'll need your live and test API keys, admin access to your WordPress site (or a staging copy), and confirmation of WooCommerce/WordPress versions. If you use WooCommerce Subscriptions for recurring billing, tell us up front so we configure UPI AutoPay / card mandates correctly.

How do refunds and auto-capture work day to day?

Auto-capture means a successful payment fires the payment.captured webhook, which transitions the order to processing automatically — no manual capture step. Refunds (full or partial) are issued from the standard WooCommerce Edit Order screen; the plugin calls Razorpay's refund API and writes the refund ID back to the order, so it reconciles against your Razorpay settlement reports.

Will it work with HPOS, my theme, WPML and multisite?

Yes. The plugin declares HPOS (custom order tables) compatibility via WooCommerce's FeaturesUtil, uses standard hooks like woocommerce_order_status_changed and woocommerce_thankyou so it co-exists with your theme, ships translation-ready strings for WPML, and is built to run on a WooCommerce multisite network. We test the relevant paths on staging before go-live.

What support and updates do I get after delivery?

You get a defined support-and-updates window from the team that built it. That covers bug fixes, compatibility updates as WooCommerce/WordPress/Razorpay APIs evolve (for example webhook or RBI tokenisation changes), and help with configuration questions.
