QuickBooks Online Sync for WooCommerce is a build-to-order plugin that ECOSIRE designs, builds, installs and supports directly on your WordPress site — it is not an instant WooCommerce.com or WordPress.org download. After purchase we scope your QuickBooks Online (QBO) chart of accounts, tax codes and product catalog, then deliver a plugin tuned to your books.

The plugin connects WooCommerce to the QuickBooks Online API via OAuth 2.0 and runs a two-way sync of customers, orders, payments, products, inventory and tax. When an order reaches a status you choose (processing, completed, or a custom status), a WordPress woocommerce_order_status_changed action queues a job that posts a Sales Receipt or Invoice into QBO with line items, shipping, discounts and the correct tax code mapped from your WooCommerce tax classes. Payments captured by your gateway are posted against the matching QBO transaction so your Undeposited Funds and bank-reconciliation flow stays clean.

It is fully HPOS-aware — it reads and writes through WooCommerce's custom order tables (and the legacy wp_posts store during transition), so nothing breaks when you enable High-Performance Order Storage. Product and inventory levels sync both ways, so a stock adjustment in QBO or a sale on the storefront keeps quantities aligned.

You control everything from a dedicated wp-admin settings screen: field mapping, account/tax mapping, a sync window as frequent as every 5 minutes (via WP-Cron or a real server cron we configure for reliability), and a historical order import/backfill so your opening balances and prior orders land in QBO correctly. Every sync is logged with retry-on-failure, and we hand over documentation plus a support window. You own the code on your server.

Is this an instant download I can install myself from WooCommerce.com?

No. This is a build-to-order plugin. ECOSIRE builds it for your specific QuickBooks Online setup, then installs, connects and configures it on your WordPress site. There is no marketplace download link — you receive the finished, working plugin and its source code directly from us.

How long does delivery take after I purchase?

A typical build, QBO connection, mapping and historical backfill takes about 2 to 3 weeks from the kickoff call, depending on how complex your chart of accounts, tax setup and order history are. We confirm a firm timeline during scoping and validate on a staging or QBO sandbox before touching your live company file.

What ongoing support and updates do I get?

Every build includes a post-delivery support window for fixes and questions, plus documentation. Because QuickBooks Online and WooCommerce both update their APIs and core (for example HPOS changes), we offer an optional ongoing maintenance arrangement to keep the integration compatible as those platforms evolve. The one-time price covers the build, install and the initial support window.

Will it work with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS)?

Yes. The plugin is HPOS-aware — it reads and writes through WooCommerce's custom order tables and falls back to the legacy wp_posts store during migration. Enabling or disabling HPOS will not break the sync.

Can it import my existing orders into QuickBooks Online?

Yes. We run a historical order import/backfill for an agreed date range so prior orders, payments and taxes land in QBO. The job is idempotent and de-duplicates against existing QBO records by email and transaction reference so you do not get double-posted invoices or duplicate customers.

How often does it sync, and is WP-Cron reliable enough?

You can schedule syncs as frequently as every 5 minutes. Because the default WordPress WP-Cron only fires when your site gets traffic, we configure a real server-side cron during setup so syncs run on time even during quiet periods. Order, payment and tax posting also fires in near real time on order status change.
