Klarna Payments for WooCommerce brings Klarna's full Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) suite — Pay now, Pay later, and Slice it / Pay in 3-4 instalments — into your WooCommerce checkout, with on-site promotional messaging on product and cart pages that tells shoppers their instalment options before they reach checkout.
This is a build-to-order plugin, not an instant marketplace download. ECOSIRE builds it against your live theme and checkout, installs it on your WordPress site, configures your Klarna merchant credentials (Username/Password or Client ID per region), and supports it after go-live. We register it as a proper WooCommerce payment gateway via the WC_Payment_Gateway API and hook the Klarna Payments session into your checkout flow.
Under the hood we pass complete order-line data and EMD (Extra Merchant Data) — line items, tax rates, shipping, discounts and customer profile — so Klarna can run accurate risk assessment and approve more orders. We wire the full capture / refund / partial-capture lifecycle to WooCommerce order status transitions (woocommerce_order_status_completed, refund hooks) so your finance team manages everything from wp-admin without logging into the Klarna Merchant Portal.
The build is HPOS-aware (WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage / custom order tables) and works alongside the classic posts table. It supports multi-market Klarna — different credentials, currencies and instalment products per region — and is WPML / multisite-friendly so messaging renders in the right locale. We respect Klarna's on-site messaging library placements rather than hard-coding banners, so updates from Klarna flow through cleanly. Every install is smoke-tested in Klarna's playground before we touch live keys.

How long until Klarna is live on my store, and how is it delivered?
This is a build-to-order plugin, so there is no instant download. Typical delivery is 3 to 7 business days from when we receive your Klarna playground credentials and WordPress/WooCommerce access. We build the gateway against your actual theme and checkout, install and configure it on your site, test the full purchase/capture/refund flow in Klarna's playground, then cut over to your live keys after your sign-off. Complex multi-market or block-checkout setups may add a few days — we confirm the timeline before starting.
What do I get for ongoing support and updates after launch?
Every build includes a defined post-launch support window for bug fixes and configuration help. Because the plugin is custom to your site, updates are handled by ECOSIRE rather than auto-pushed from a marketplace — when WooCommerce, WordPress or Klarna's API changes (for example a new HPOS requirement or a messaging-library update), we update your plugin under a maintenance arrangement so it keeps passing Klarna's certification. We agree the scope and duration of support in writing before delivery.
Will this work with WooCommerce HPOS (custom order tables) and the new block checkout?
Yes. We build against the WooCommerce CRUD/data-store layer rather than reading wp_posts directly, so the plugin is compatible with High-Performance Order Storage. We support both the classic shortcode checkout and the newer Checkout block — tell us which your store uses (or both) and we target it during the build. We verify HPOS compatibility as part of installation.

Accurate, complete data is what lets Klarna run a proper risk assessment and approve more orders — incomplete payloads are a common cause of declined or failed Klarna sessions, so we make sure yours is right.
