This is a build-to-order solution. After purchase, ECOSIRE builds, installs, and configures the app on your store; it is not an instant Shopify App Store download. We connect to your store via OAuth with scoped Admin access, subscribe to the orders/create and orders/paid webhooks, and read order, customer, tax, and line-item data through the Admin GraphQL API. Each invoice is generated as compliant Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 / EN 16931 XML, then handed to a built-in Access Point for transmission to the recipient's Peppol ID (e.g. a VAT-derived or GLN-based participant identifier).
Because EU member states each tighten the syntax in their own way, we ship per-country format profiles so a French Chorus Pro, Belgian, or Italian-adjacent buyer each receive a correctly-profiled document. Buyer VAT numbers are checked against VIES before transmission, and where your buyers still need a human-readable copy we produce a hybrid PDF with embedded XML (Factur-X style) so one file satisfies both people and machines.
Configuration, your sender Peppol participant registration, format-profile mapping, and tax logic are all set up to your store's reality during the build. After purchase, ECOSIRE schedules a short scoping call, then builds, installs, and configures the app on your store. Typical delivery is around 2-3 weeks, depending on the number of target countries and your sender Peppol participant registration timeline. We confirm a firm lead time in writing before work starts and run a verified end-to-end transmission test before go-live. This is not an instant App Store download.
+What ongoing support and updates do I get?
Every build includes a post-launch support window with a named ECOSIRE engineer. Peppol BIS and EN 16931 profiles change as member states update mandates, so we ship format-profile updates and fix any transmission or validation issues that arise. Longer-term maintenance and SLA options are available; you are not left to track regulatory changes yourself.
+Do I need my own Peppol Access Point or accreditation?
No. The app includes a built-in Access Point for transmission, and we handle registering your store as a Peppol sender participant during the build. You do not need to procure separate Access Point software or hold your own accreditation.
+How does it know my buyer can receive a Peppol invoice?
We resolve each buyer's Peppol participant ID from their VAT number or GLN and validate VAT details against VIES before transmission. If a buyer is not reachable on the network or VIES validation fails, the order is flagged with a clear status so your team can fall back to a hybrid PDF with embedded XML instead.
+Will this conflict with my existing accounting or invoicing setup?
No. The app reads order data through the Shopify Admin GraphQL API and writes transmission status to order metafields, so it runs alongside your existing tools. We map your tax and line-item logic to EN 16931 fields during the build, and the hybrid PDF can mirror the invoice layout your finance team already uses.
