Yes. Klarna underwrites the consumer credit and pays you upfront, so the commercial agreement is between you and Klarna. You sign up for a Klarna Merchant account and provide us the API credentials; we handle all the Shopify-side integration, configuration, and on-site messaging. We can advise during your Klarna onboarding if needed.

Every build includes a post-launch support window for bug fixes and adjustments. Because we use a Theme App Extension rather than hard-coded Liquid, the messaging widgets generally survive Shopify theme updates. For ongoing changes — new markets, Klarna product updates, redesigns — we offer a maintenance arrangement billed separately. You are never locked out; we hand over full documentation.

You are paid the full order amount upfront (less Klarna's merchant fee) once Klarna approves the order. The customer pays Klarna over time in Pay in 4 or Pay Monthly installments, and Klarna — not you — carries the credit and fraud risk. The integration records the order and settlement in Shopify so your reporting stays accurate.

Klarna's available plans, currencies, and legally-required credit messaging differ by country, so we configure each storefront to show only its eligible Klarna products and the correct disclosures.
