Caterers and central kitchens run on a rhythm that standard Odoo was never shaped for: a wedding for 240 guests, a corporate lunch for 30, and a funeral reception for 80 can all land in the same week, each with its own menu, per-head price, dietary constraints, and a hard delivery time that cannot slip. In vanilla Odoo you can raise a sale.order and even build kitted products with the MRP mrp.bom, but there is no first-class notion of an event with a headcount that drives both pricing and ingredient demand. Teams end up managing menus in spreadsheets, re-keying headcounts into manufacturing orders by hand, and discovering at 5am that they are short 6kg of chicken because nobody exploded the BOM across the day's confirmed events. That gap between "the sale" and "what the kitchen actually has to cook and pack" is exactly where this module lives.
Menu and package configuration via a `catering.menu` / `catering.package` model with per-head pricing, course structure, and per-cover product/BOM linkage
Event catering order model capturing headcount, event date/time, venue, service style (plated/buffet/drop-off) and per-diet counts
`@api.depends('headcount', 'package_id')` computes that reflow both the customer quote and kitchen production demand on any change
Ingredient and sub-recipe BOM explosion aggregated and date-bucketed across all confirmed events for a production day
Final-headcount cutoff handling that locks pricing and production once the guarantee deadline passes (automated action)
Kitchen production sheets and per-event dockets rendered as printable QWeb PDF reports
ECOSIRE builds a dedicated Catering Service Management app for your Odoo. At its core is a menu and package layer: a catering.menu / catering.package model where each package carries per-head pricing, course structure, and links to the product.product and mrp.bom records that define what must be produced per cover. Event orders are a purpose-built model (extending or bridging sale.order) that captures headcount, event date and time, venue, service style (plated, buffet, drop-off), and dietary counts. A @api.depends('headcount', 'package_id') compute recalculates the priced quote and, critically, the production demand — so changing 200 guests to 230 reflows both the customer total and the kitchen's ingredient requirement without a single manual edit.
The production side is where the engineering earns its keep. We explode each confirmed event's packages down through their bills of materials so you get an aggregated, date-bucketed ingredient and sub-recipe demand across every event on a given production day — the "cook list" and the shopping list. Kitchen production and packing schedules are generated as their own records with QWeb reports (production sheets, packing labels, delivery run-sheets, per-event kitchen dockets) that your team actually prints. Staffing and delivery logistics are modelled as assignable resources against each event, with a delivery schedule view that sequences drop-offs by time and route. Access is locked down with ir.model.access.csv plus record rules so kitchen staff, event coordinators, and finance each see only what they should, and automated actions handle the reminders (production cutoffs, final-headcount deadlines, delivery day). Everything is reachable over Odoo's XML-RPC / JSON-RPC API for integration with a website enquiry form or a delivery app.
Because this is build-to-order, you are not downloading a generic module and bending your process to fit it. We start from your real menus, package structures, and production workflow, build the module against your Odoo version (17.0, 18.0 or 19.0) and edition (Community or Enterprise — MRP-dependent features are scoped to your edition), and deliver clean, documented source with a proper __manifest__.py, model layer, security, views and reports. Typical delivery is 2–4 weeks from confirmed scope, depending on how deep the BOM explosion and logistics requirements go. You get the installable code, a staging UAT with a rollback plan, training for your coordinators and kitchen leads, a git repository handover, and a post-go-live support window so the first real event weekend has us behind it.
Runs weddings, corporate and private events with variable headcounts and hard delivery times. Needs per-head menu pricing that flows straight into an accurate production and packing plan, so nothing is over- or under-cooked.
Cooks for multiple events and outlets from one facility. Needs the day's confirmed orders exploded into a single aggregated cook list and shopping list, bucketed by production date and station.
Owns the pipeline from enquiry to delivery. Needs one Odoo record per event carrying headcount, dietary counts, staffing and logistics, plus printable dockets and delivery run-sheets.
Needs event quotes, final-headcount guarantees and margins to reconcile with `sale.order` and accounting, with role-based access so kitchen staff never touch pricing.

| 标准 | 伊科西尔 | 定制建造 | 竞争对手 | 奥杜本机 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fit to your menus & workflow | Built from your real packages and production process | Fully bespoke but you specify and manage it | Generic assumptions you must bend to | |
| Headcount-driven production | BOM explosion aggregated per production day | Possible if you build the compute layer | Rarely ties headcount to BOM demand | |
| Per-head event pricing | Native per-cover pricing with dietary roll-ups | Achievable with dedicated build effort | Basic price lists, limited event model | |
| Delivery & staffing logistics | Sequenced delivery runs + staff assignment | Buildable to spec | Usually out of scope | |
| Odoo 17/18/19 & edition | Built for your exact version and edition | Depends on your developer | Version support varies by vendor | |
| Source code & ownership | Full source + git repo handover | You own it, you maintain it | Often obfuscated or licence-locked | |
| Delivery model | 2–4 weeks from confirmed scope | Open-ended, self-managed | Instant download, then you adapt | |
| Support after launch | Post-go-live window + optional retainer | Your team or contractor | Vendor tickets, variable SLAs |
No. This is a build-to-order module. ECOSIRE scopes it against your real menus, packages and production workflow, then builds, installs and supports it on your Odoo. You receive the full installable source code and git repository — not a generic pre-packaged download.
Typically 2–4 weeks from confirmed scope. The exact timeline depends on how deep your BOM explosion, dietary handling and delivery-logistics requirements go. We agree the scope on a short call, then give you a fixed delivery window before any build starts.
Every build includes a post-go-live support window covering your first live event cycle. Because you receive the source and the git repo, you are never locked in — you can extend it yourself or engage ECOSIRE for a support/maintenance retainer, including forward-porting when you upgrade Odoo versions.
Both. Core catering, menus, event orders, security and QWeb reports run on Community and Enterprise. Features that lean on MRP BOM explosion are scoped to your edition during the scoping call so nothing depends on an app you don't run.
Each menu package links per-cover products to their `mrp.bom`. Compute methods explode those BOMs by the event headcount and aggregate demand across all confirmed events for a production day, giving you a single date-bucketed cook list and ingredient requirement instead of manual per-order maths.
Yes. Event orders are readable and writable over Odoo's standard XML-RPC / JSON-RPC API, so a website form can create draft events and a delivery app can pull the day's sequenced drop-offs. Deeper integrations can be included in scope.
Odoo 17.0, 18.0 and 19.0. We build against your specific running version so the module installs cleanly, and we handle any version-specific ORM, view (XML/OWL) or reporting differences as part of the build.
