ECOSIRE builds the extension against your Vertex account, taxability mapping, and store hierarchy, then installs and configures it on your environment. Is this an instant download from the Adobe Commerce Marketplace?

No. This is a build-to-order extension. ECOSIRE builds the Ecosire_VertexTax module against your Vertex account and store configuration, then installs it on your environment. There is no Marketplace listing or self-serve download — you receive the versioned module source and a composer package directly from us.

What is the delivery lead time?

Typical delivery is about 3 to 4 weeks from kickoff: roughly one week of scoping and Vertex/taxability mapping, one to two weeks of build and unit/integration testing, then staging installation, UAT against real carts, and production go-live. After that, an optional maintenance plan covers compatibility with Magento 2.4.x patch releases, Vertex API changes, and enhancement requests. Vertex-side rate and rule updates are handled automatically by the Vertex engine itself, so those never require a code change.

Do I need a Vertex subscription, and is it included in the $799?

Yes, you need an active Vertex account (Vertex Cloud or on-premise O Series) — it is the tax engine the connector calls. The Vertex subscription is billed separately by Vertex and is not included. The $799 is a one-time build fee for the Magento integration: the module, installation, configuration, UAT, and handover.

Will it work with my headless / PWA or GraphQL checkout?

Yes. The connector hooks calculation at the quote total-collection layer and returns results through Magento's standard service contracts, so REST and GraphQL checkout receive Vertex-calculated totals the same way the Luma frontend does. If you run Adobe Commerce PWA Studio or a custom headless front end, we validate the GraphQL totals during UAT.

Does it override Magento core or break upgrades?

No core files are overridden. The module uses di.xml plugins (interceptors) on the tax total model and a custom calculator, observers on invoice and credit-memo events, and standard admin config with an ACL resource.
