The extension ships as a proper module under app/code/Ecosire/TapPayments, registering payment methods through Magento's payment gateway command pool (Gateway\Command, Http\Client, request/response builders) rather than hacking core. Configuration lives in Stores → Configuration → Sales → Payment Methods, gated by admin ACL, with separate test (sandbox) and live API keys stored encrypted.
