Native tax rates are flat zip-code rules that miss rooftop-level jurisdiction boundaries, ignore economic nexus thresholds, and leave you reconciling returns by hand. This extension replaces that guesswork by wiring your store directly into the TaxJar API.

ECOSIRE builds the module as a clean, namespaced package under app/code/Ecosire/TaxJar, following Magento 2 best practices: a Magento\Tax\Api\TaxCalculationInterface plugin/interceptor (via di.xml) that calls TaxJar at quote-collect time, observers on sales_order_invoice_register and sales_order_creditmemo_save_after to push transactions and sync partial and full refunds (credit memos), and a cron job that polls nexus exposure. Calculation results are cached to keep checkout fast and to respect TaxJar rate limits, with a graceful fallback to your configured backup rate if the API is unreachable.

How long until the extension is delivered and live on my store?

Because this is built to order for your specific Magento version, theme, and checkout, typical delivery is about 2 to 4 weeks from kickoff and TaxJar account access. What do I need to provide before you start?
