Magento 2's native reports (Sales, Bestsellers, Low Stock, Customer reports under Reports → Statistics) are fixed-shape and pre-aggregated. The moment finance asks for "gross margin by category by sales channel for repeat customers, last 90 days," you hit a wall and end up exporting CSVs into a spreadsheet. Custom Report Builder (Drag-and-Drop) closes that gap with a self-service constructor built directly into your Magento admin.

This is an honest build-to-order extension, not an instant Adobe Commerce Marketplace download. ECOSIRE engineers the module against your Magento version (Open Source or Adobe Commerce), your custom attributes, and your third-party data, then installs and supports it on your environment.

The module ships as a standard composer package under app/code/Ecosire/ReportBuilder. A drag-and-drop UI (Magento UI Components / Knockout) lets non-technical users pick fields from orders, order items, products, customers, categories, and shipments, define safe cross-entity joins, add custom calculated columns (margin, AOV, return rate), and build multi-dimensional groupings and pivots. Under the hood every report compiles to a parameterized query through Magento's resource model / connection layer — never raw string SQL — with results paginated and exportable to CSV/XLSX.

Reports are saved as templates, shared by admin role via ACL, and can be scheduled through Magento cron to email stakeholders. A read-only service contract + REST/GraphQL endpoint exposes saved-report data to Power BI, Looker Studio, or your warehouse. No. This is built-to-order. ECOSIRE engineers the module against your exact Magento version, custom attributes, and data sources, then installs and supports it on your environment. You receive full source code — there is no instant Marketplace download or hidden per-seat license.

How long until it is live on my store, and what is the delivery process?

Typical delivery is around 2–4 weeks depending on the complexity of your entity/join map and any custom EAV attributes. The flow is: scoping call, build against a copy of your catalog/sales schema, install and validate on your staging environment, then a supervised production deploy. Yes. The module installs as a standard composer package under app/code and uses framework APIs (resource models, service contracts, UI Components, ACL, cron) that exist in both editions. On Adobe Commerce it can additionally route reporting queries to a read replica and respect commerce-only data where present.

Will heavy reporting slow down my storefront or checkout?

No. Every report compiles to a paginated, parameterized query through Magento's connection layer. Where a read replica is configured, report queries are routed to it so analytics never contend with the primary checkout database. Scheduled exports run in the cron process, off the request path.

What ongoing support and updates do I get after delivery?
