This is a build-to-order CCAvenue payment gateway extension for Magento 2 (Open Source) and Adobe Commerce, engineered, installed and supported by ECOSIRE. CCAvenue gives Indian merchants the broadest local method coverage available: 200+ payment options spanning UPI, net banking across major banks, mobile wallets, credit/debit cards and EMI plans, plus multi-currency processing in 27+ currencies for cross-border sales.

Under the hood it ships as a proper Magento module under app/code/Ecosire/CCAvenue, registering a payment method through etc/payment.xml and wiring the gateway command pool (authorize, capture, refund, void) via the official Payment Gateway abstraction in di.xml. Checkout uses CCAvenue's hosted iframe / redirect flow so card data never touches your server — keeping your store out of heavy PCI-DSS scope. We implement the AES-256 request/response encryption CCAvenue requires, a server-to-server response handler with order-status reconciliation, and service contracts for clean, upgrade-safe integration.

Order management is first-class: capture and refund are issued from the Magento admin via CCAvenue's APIs (online refunds against the credit memo), with webhook/return-URL verification and a cron-driven job to reconcile pending transactions. The method respects Magento payment ACL, multi-website scope (stores config), and works across the native checkout, REST and GraphQL order APIs for headless/PWA storefronts.
