Braintree Payment Gateway for Magento 2 is a build-to-order extension that ECOSIRE designs, develops, installs and supports directly on your Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce store. This is not an instant Adobe Commerce Marketplace download — we build the module to fit your store's checkout, theme, currencies and compliance posture, then deploy it on your environment and stand behind it.

The module ships as a proper Magento package under app/code/Ecosire/BraintreeGateway, wiring Braintree's PHP SDK into Magento's payment service contracts and gateway command framework (payment/gateway CommandPool, ValidatorPool, Http\TransferFactory). Credentials and behavior are exposed through a dedicated system.xml configuration section under Stores → Configuration → Sales → Payment Methods, with sandbox/production toggles, encrypted merchant keys, and per-website scope.

At checkout, customers pay with credit/debit cards, PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay and Google Pay through Braintree's Drop-in / Hosted Fields, so raw card data never touches your server — keeping you in scope for PCI DSS SAQ-A. 3D Secure 2 runs with dynamic challenge for SCA/PSD2, and vaulting lets logged-in customers store payment methods for one-click reorders and subscriptions. Multi-currency presentment is supported with Braintree settlement across its supported countries.

We implement authorize/capture, partial and full online refunds, void, and webhook handling, surfacing transaction state into Magento order grids and the admin with proper ACL resources. The build covers GraphQL and REST checkout paths (headless/PWA-ready), di.xml dependency injection, plugins/interceptors and event observers where your flow needs them, plus cron for reconciliation.
