A shopper buys a brake rotor that doesn't fit their engine variant, ships it back, and you eat the restocking, the freight and the trust. The Automotive Year/Make/Model Parts Finder solves that at the source: a cascading Year → Make → Model → Engine finder that filters your Magento catalog down to parts that genuinely fit the shopper's vehicle.
This is a build-to-order extension, not a one-click Adobe Commerce Marketplace download. ECOSIRE builds it as a proper Magento 2 module under app/code/Ecosire/PartsFinder, wires it into your store via di.xml, layout XML and a UI-component widget, then installs and configures it on your own Magento install — Open Source or Adobe Commerce, on your hosting or ours. We map your existing catalog, vehicle data and theme before we ship, so the finder matches your store rather than forcing your store to match a generic plugin.
Fitment is modeled with unlimited custom attributes, so a tire store's "rim size / load index" is as native as an engine store's "displacement / aspiration". Shoppers get AJAX-driven cascading dropdowns tuned for catalogs of 10,000+ SKUs, and you load vehicle data in bulk by CSV import. Place the finder on the homepage, any category, a CMS block/page, or the product page via widget and layout.

Is this an instant download from the Adobe Commerce Marketplace?
No. This is a build-to-order extension. ECOSIRE builds the module to fit your catalog, vehicle data and theme, then installs and configures it directly on your Magento install. There is no Marketplace 'buy and download' link — you're buying a finished, working finder on your store plus the engineering behind it.
How long until it's live on my store? (delivery / lead time)
Typical delivery is about 2 to 4 weeks from when we receive access to your staging environment and your fitment data, depending on catalog size, the number of placements, theme complexity and whether you're on Adobe Commerce or Open Source. We build and test on staging first, get your sign-off, then deploy to production. If you have a launch deadline, tell us up front and we'll confirm a realistic date before you pay.
What happens after launch — do I get support and updates? (ongoing support)
Every build includes a post-launch support window for bug fixes, fitment-data load help and minor adjustments. Because the module is built cleanly under app/code with service contracts and no core hacks, it survives Magento minor upgrades; when a major Magento or Adobe Commerce version drops we can quote a compatibility pass. You own the source for your store, so you're never locked to us — but we're on call when you want a change.
Will it stay fast on a catalog with tens of thousands of SKUs?
Yes — that's a core design goal. The cascading dropdowns load options via AJAX so the browser never has to hold the entire vehicle tree at once, the fitment lookups are indexed, and the module respects Magento's cache types and full-page cache. We load-test against your actual SKU and fitment-row counts on staging before sign-off so 'fast on a demo' doesn't become 'slow on your real catalog'.
Does it work with Adobe Commerce, headless frontends, and multiple store views?
Yes. It runs on both Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. The fitment data is exposed over REST and GraphQL, so a PWA Studio, Hyvä, or custom headless frontend (or a mobile app) can drive the same finder. Make/model labels are store-view aware for multi-region or multi-language stores, and admin configuration is ACL-gated so you control which roles can edit fitment data.
Can I import my existing fitment data instead of entering it by hand?
Yes. The module ships with a CSV bulk importer with validation and a dry-run preview, built for tens of thousands of vehicle-to-SKU rows. If your data is in an ACES/PIES-style or supplier export, we'll help map it to the import format during the build and run the initial load for you as part of delivery.
