The Zalando Connector for Business Central is a build-to-order AL extension that turns your Zalando Partner Program account into a first-class sales channel inside Dynamics 365 Business Central. ECOSIRE designs, develops, installs and supports it on your BC environment — it is not an instant AppSource download.
European fashion brands selling on Zalando typically juggle the Partner Program portal, spreadsheets and manual re-keying. This extension closes that gap. New Zalando orders are pulled in on a scheduled Job Queue entry and posted as Business Central Sales Orders, with marketplace fees and channel attribution preserved. Your fashion catalog is published outbound with disciplined size/colour variant mapping to Business Central Item Variants and Variant Codes, EAN/GTIN matching and category attributes. Inventory and price stay in sync so stock-outs and oversells are minimised.
The connector handles the realities of fashion logistics: ZFS (Zalando Fulfillment Solutions) reconciliation matches fulfilment movements and stock-on-hand at Zalando warehouses against BC item ledger entries, and returns and refunds flow back as Sales Return Orders and Credit Memos. It also flags discrepancies for review rather than silently overwriting your ledger.
Technically it ships as a per-tenant extension built in modern AL — table and page extensions, a setup page for credentials, event subscribers on posting routines, and a dedicated permission set. Integration uses the Zalando merchant APIs outbound and BC's own REST/OData surface inbound. Optional Dataverse / Power Platform hooks let you surface channel KPIs in Power BI. Because it is per-tenant, the code lives in your environment, is upgrade-aware, and carries no AppSource gatekeeping. 关于Zalando Connector for Business Central的常见问题
How long does delivery take and how is it installed?
This is a build-to-order extension, not an instant download. Typical delivery is 3 to 5 weeks depending on your variant-mapping complexity and ZFS usage. ECOSIRE scopes the channel, develops the AL extension, then deploys it as a per-tenant .app first into your Business Central sandbox for UAT and finally into production. We configure the Zalando Setup page, schedule the Job Queue entries and verify a live order round-trip before handover.
Do I get ongoing support and updates after install?
Yes. The price includes a defined post-delivery support window. Because Zalando periodically changes its Partner Program APIs and Business Central ships monthly and major updates, we provide bug fixes, AL compatibility updates and re-deployment of the extension across BC version upgrades during that window. Extended support and SLA options are available; we keep the source and AL project so future enhancements are straightforward.
Is this an AppSource app I can just install myself?
No. It is delivered as a per-tenant extension that ECOSIRE builds and installs directly on your environment. This avoids AppSource certification gatekeeping, lets us tailor variant mapping and posting logic to your data, and keeps the code in your tenant where you can audit it. There is no public AppSource listing or self-service download.
How are size and colour variants handled?
Fashion variants are the hardest part of any Zalando integration. We map your Business Central Item Variants and Variant Codes to Zalando size/colour combinations, matching on EAN/GTIN where available and on a configurable rule set otherwise. Unmapped or ambiguous variants land in a review queue rather than publishing incorrectly, so you never ship the wrong SKU.
Does it work with ZFS (Zalando Fulfillment Solutions)?
Yes. If you use ZFS, the connector reconciles fulfilment movements and warehouse stock-on-hand at Zalando against your BC item ledger entries, and flags discrepancies for review. If you fulfil yourself, the reconciliation module is simply configured for your own location. The connector supports mixed setups across multiple locations.
