If you sell food, flowers, groceries or baked goods, "when" matters as much as "what." Shopify has no native concept of a delivery date or a fulfillment time slot — so customers guess, you field phone calls, and same-day orders land after your kitchen has closed. The Delivery Date & Time Picker is a Shopify app ECOSIRE custom-builds, installs and supports for your store to fix exactly that.

This is not an instant App Store download. After purchase we install it as a private app on your store via OAuth, wire it into your theme app extension (online store and Checkout Extensibility where your plan allows), and configure it to your real fulfillment rules. The picker renders a calendar and time-slot selector the customer fills in before paying.

The chosen date, slot and method are written to the order as line-item properties and order metafields via the Admin GraphQL API, so your operations team, packing slips and notification emails all see them. Rules are enforced server-side: same-day cut-off times, prep/lead time per product or collection, blackout and holiday dates, timezone-aware scheduling, and per-slot capacity limits that close a slot once it's full — backed by order webhooks (orders/create, orders/cancelled) so capacity counts stay accurate even when orders are cancelled.

You get a configuration that matches your hours, locations and product lead times — not a generic toggle. Because we build it to order, we can also branch logic by multi-location inventory, pickup vs delivery, postal-code zones, or product tags. Is this an instant download from the Shopify App Store?

No. This is a build-to-order app. After purchase, ECOSIRE custom-builds it to your fulfillment rules, installs it on your store as a private app via OAuth, and integrates it into your theme. There is no App Store listing or self-serve install link involved.

How long does delivery and installation take?

Typical turnaround is about 5 to 10 business days from purchase, depending on how complex your rules are (multi-location, postal-code zones, custom checkout extensions add time). After a short kickoff call to capture your hours, slots, cut-offs and blackout dates, we build, install on a development or live store, test, and hand over. We confirm a firm date in writing before we start.

What ongoing support and updates do I get?

The $249 price includes installation, configuration to your rules, and a post-launch support window for bug fixes and adjustments. Because Shopify evolves (Checkout Extensibility, API version deprecations), we offer optional ongoing maintenance to keep the app on a supported Admin API version and adjust slot rules as your operations change. We scope and quote that separately so you only pay for what you need.

Where does the selected date and time slot end up so my team can see it?

The chosen date, time slot and fulfillment method are written to the order as line-item properties and order metafields through the Admin GraphQL API. That means they appear on the order in Shopify admin and can be surfaced on packing slips, order confirmation emails and your notification templates so your fulfillment team works from accurate data.

Can it stop a delivery slot from being oversold?

Yes. Each slot has a configurable capacity limit. The app counts paid orders against that slot and hides or disables it once it's full. Order webhooks (orders/create and orders/cancelled) keep the count accurate in real time, so a cancelled order frees its slot back up automatically.

Does it handle timezones and cut-off times correctly?

Yes. Scheduling is pinned to your store's timezone, not the shopper's browser. Cut-off times (for example, order by 11am for same-day) are evaluated against your local time, so a customer in another timezone can't slip past your kitchen's deadline.
