Signifyd-Style Chargeback Guarantee is a build-to-order Shopify app that screens every incoming order with AI fraud decisioning and lets you stand behind a financial guarantee on approved orders — so a fraudulent chargeback on a green-lit order is reimbursed rather than absorbed.

This is not an instant App Store download. ECOSIRE designs, builds, installs, and supports it on your store. We wire it to your store through a custom app using OAuth and the Admin GraphQL API, subscribing to the orders/create and orders/paid webhooks so each order is scored in real time. Risk signals — billing/shipping mismatch, BIN/issuer geography, email and device reputation, order velocity, and basket value — are passed through the decisioning engine to produce a clean pass/fail verdict.

Verdicts are written back as order metafields and surfaced as Shopify order tags (risk-pass, risk-review, risk-fail), so your team and your existing flows can act on them. Borderline orders drop into a manual review queue in an embedded Polaris admin UI; clear-fraud orders trigger an automatic hold or cancel via the GraphQL orderCancel/fulfillment-hold mutations before anything ships.

The guarantee layer is configurable to your risk policy and chosen underwriting model — covered orders are logged with a guarantee reference, and chargeback events reconcile against that ledger. Because it is built to order, the rules, thresholds, queue routing, and guarantee terms are tuned to your catalog, geographies, and tolerance — not a one-size template.
