Order Sync to QuickBooks/Xero is a Shopify app ECOSIRE builds to order, installs on your store, and supports — not an instant App Store download. We tailor the integration to your chart of accounts, tax registrations, and reconciliation workflow before it ever touches your live books.

Under the hood it uses Shopify webhooks (orders/create, orders/paid, refunds/create, inventory_levels/update) plus the Admin GraphQL API to capture each sale with line items, discounts, shipping, gateway fees and taxes. Payouts from Shopify Payments are pulled via the Payouts/Balance Transaction API so the lump-sum bank deposit reconciles cleanly against the underlying orders, fees and refunds in QuickBooks Online or Xero.

Every sync respects your mapping rules: products and collections to income/COGS accounts, Shopify tax lines to the correct VAT/GST/sales-tax codes, and gateway charges to fee accounts. Multi-currency orders are recorded at the right exchange basis, and multi-location inventory can post COGS and stock movements per location. Choose per-order journals for full detail or a daily summary to keep the ledger tidy.

Because it's OAuth-scoped to your store and your accounting tenant, nothing is shared beyond what's needed, and failed syncs surface in a retry log rather than failing silently. Is this an app I download instantly from the Shopify App Store?

No. This is a build-to-order integration. ECOSIRE builds the app for your specific chart of accounts, tax setup and workflow, then installs it on your store via OAuth and supports it. It is not a self-serve App Store download, which is exactly why it can be mapped precisely to your books.

How long does delivery take after I purchase?

Typical delivery is around 2 to 4 weeks depending on complexity (single vs. multi-currency, number of tax registrations, locations, and historical backfill). After purchase we confirm scope, gather access to your Shopify store and accounting tenant, build and test in a sandbox, then go live with you. We give you a firm timeline once scope is confirmed.

Does it work with both QuickBooks Online and Xero?

Yes. We build the integration against whichever you use — QuickBooks Online or Xero. Each is configured against your real chart of accounts and tax rates. We do not support legacy QuickBooks Desktop through this app.

How are Shopify Payments payouts reconciled?

We pull payout and balance-transaction data from Shopify, so each lump-sum deposit that lands in your bank is matched to the underlying orders, refunds and processing fees. That means the deposit reconciles cleanly in QuickBooks or Xero instead of appearing as one unexplained amount.

What about ongoing support and updates after launch?

Every build includes a post-launch support window to fix issues and fine-tune mappings as you use it. Because Shopify's Admin API and QuickBooks/Xero APIs evolve, we also offer ongoing maintenance so the integration keeps working as platforms change, your tax setup shifts, or you add products, locations or currencies.
