The 3PL Fulfillment Connector closes that loop with a real, two-way integration between Shopify and your specific 3PL or WMS.
This is a build-to-order app — not an instant App Store download. After you purchase, ECOSIRE scopes your exact fulfillment system (ShipBob, ShipHero, Deposco, a NetSuite WMS, or a 3PL's proprietary API), builds the connector against it, installs it on your store, and supports it. We work against the Shopify Admin GraphQL API and register webhooks (orders/create, orders/paid, fulfillments/*) so events flow in real time instead of on a polling lag.
What it does, concretely: paid orders are pushed to your 3PL/WMS with a normalized payload and your SKU mapping applied; available inventory from each fulfillment center syncs back into Shopify's multi-location inventory so the storefront reflects real stock; when the 3PL ships, we write the fulfillment, tracking number, and carrier back to Shopify so the customer gets the native shipping-confirmation email; and multi-warehouse routing assigns each order to the right location by destination, stock availability, or your custom rules.
Authentication uses Shopify OAuth with least-privilege scopes; routing rules and credentials live in app metafields and a small admin config. How long does it take to build and install after I purchase?

If your 3PL has a well-documented public API and a single warehouse, it lands toward the shorter end; proprietary APIs or complex multi-warehouse rules take longer. Is this an instant App Store download?
No. This is a build-to-order app. There is no one-click install because the connector is built specifically against your 3PL or WMS and your catalog. ECOSIRE builds it, installs it on your store via OAuth, configures the mappings and routing, and verifies it with a real test order before handover. You are buying a tailored integration plus the engineering to stand it up, not a generic plugin.
What do you do about ongoing support and updates?
Every build includes a defined post-launch support window for bug fixes and adjustments. Because Shopify's Admin API and your 3PL's API both change over time, we also offer ongoing maintenance so the connector keeps working when an API version is deprecated or a webhook payload changes. If a third party alters its API, we adapt the connector — you are not left with a broken integration and no one to call.
Which 3PLs and warehouse systems do you support?
Any 3PL or WMS that exposes an API we can integrate against — for example ShipBob, ShipHero, Deposco, or a 3PL's proprietary endpoint. During scoping we review your provider's API documentation and authentication to confirm feasibility before you commit to the build. If your 3PL only offers CSV/SFTP exchange rather than a live API, we will tell you honestly what is and is not possible with that interface.
Will the inventory sync stop my store from overselling?
That is the core goal. Available inventory from each fulfillment center syncs into Shopify's multi-location inventory so the storefront reflects real stock. Sync runs on a near-real-time cadence with retries, so brief 3PL outages do not silently desync your counts. It substantially reduces oversells, but no integration is perfectly instantaneous — there can be a short window between a warehouse change and the Shopify update, which we tune to your order volume.
