The module turns supplier quality from spreadsheets and shared drives into governed, auditable Odoo records. PPAP and First Article Inspection (FAI) submissions become tracked documents with the full 18-element library, submission levels 1–5, dimensional/AS9102 forms and part-status approval gates. Every incoming receipt can trigger an inspection plan defined per supplier-part, with sampling, characteristics and disposition (accept / reject / use-as-is / deviation). Non-conformances raise Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR / 8D) with due dates, containment, root cause and effectiveness verification. Live vendor scorecards compute PPM, on-time delivery and NCR/SCAR rate straight from your Odoo purchase, inventory and quality data.
Under the hood it is real Odoo engineering: new business objects extend models.Model with typed fields and @api.depends compute methods (so PPM and scorecard ratings recalculate automatically), access is locked down with ir.model.access.csv plus record rules for multi-company and supplier scoping, and the UI ships as list/form/kanban XML views (with OWL components where interactivity helps).
