Magento 2's built-in PDF documents are hard-coded layouts generated by Magento\Sales\Model\Order\Pdf\Invoice, \Shipment and \Creditmemo. They give you a logo slot and little else — no editable footer, no terms block, no per-store-view language, no extra tax or compliance fields. The PDF Invoice & Document Customizer is a custom module ECOSIRE builds, installs and supports directly on your Magento install to replace those rigid layouts with branded, multilingual, fully editable documents.

The module ships under app/code/Ecosire/PdfCustomizer and integrates the clean Magento way: a plugin (interceptor) on the core PDF model classes plus an observer on sales_order_invoice_save_after and the shipment/credit-memo events, so your existing invoice and email flows keep working. A template-based designer in the admin (guarded by its own ACL resource under Stores → Configuration and System → Permissions) lets your team arrange the logo, header, address blocks, line-item table, custom footer, terms & conditions and tax/VAT fields without touching code. Layouts are resolved per store view, so each language and currency renders its own template with correctly translated labels and locale-aware number/date formatting.

Generated PDFs auto-attach to the invoice, shipment and credit-memo emails via a plugin on the relevant *SenderBuilder, and the same documents are available from the order grid and customer account. Dedicated packing slip and picking list templates support warehouse workflows. Because it's build-to-order, ECOSIRE tailors fields, branding and tax presentation to your exact requirement, tests on a staging copy, and installs to production — on Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce (cloud or on-prem). You get the source under app/code, so nothing is locked or obfuscated.
