Authorize.Net CIM Gateway for Magento 2 is a build-to-order payment integration for North American merchants who want a trusted, long-established card gateway wired cleanly into their Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce checkout. This is not an instant Marketplace download — ECOSIRE builds the module against your store's version, theme and checkout, then installs and supports it on your environment.

The extension is implemented as a proper payment method module under app/code/Ecosire/AuthorizenetCim, built on Magento's Payment Gateway framework (Magento\Payment\Gateway) rather than the deprecated abstract method API. Card data is tokenized through Authorize.Net Customer Information Manager (CIM), so raw PANs never touch your server — saved cards are stored as CIM payment profiles and surfaced through Magento Vault for one-click reorders and subscription-friendly flows.

We wire the full transaction lifecycle through di.xml command pools: authorize-only, capture, auth-and-capture, void, and refund, each mapped to a gateway command with request builders, response handlers and validators. AVS and CVV results are evaluated server-side and can decline or hold orders by your rules. Apple Pay and Google Pay are added as accelerated wallet buttons that decrypt to Authorize.Net, keeping a single reconciliation source.

Everything respects Magento conventions: admin ACL for configuration, encrypted core_config_data credentials, sandbox/production toggle, webhook/cron-based transaction sync, and clean logging. The module ships with GraphQL and REST coverage so headless (PWA Studio) and mobile checkouts work too.
