We wire authorize, capture, sale, void and refund commands through di.xml so the gateway behaves like a first-class Magento payment method rather than a bolt-on.
Customers can pay using PayTabs hosted payment pages or the seamless (iframe/embedded) flow, covering cards, mada, Apple Pay and STC Pay plus other locally trusted MENA methods. Tokenization is stored against the Magento Vault so returning shoppers check out faster, and full or partial refunds are issued straight from the order view in admin — guarded by ACL resources so only authorised roles can trigger them.
Configuration lives in Stores → Configuration → Payment Methods, with system.xml fields for profile ID, server/client keys, region, currency mapping and sandbox/production toggles, encrypted via Magento's config backend model. Webhooks/IPN callbacks are validated server-side and reconciled against the order, and the build is covered by integration tests against PayTabs sandbox before go-live.
