Easypaisa is one of Pakistan's dominant payment rails, yet Magento ships no native gateway for it. This is a build-to-order extension — ECOSIRE develops, installs and supports it on your Magento 2 (Open Source) or Adobe Commerce instance. It is not an instant Adobe Commerce Marketplace download; you receive a tested, store-specific module with source under app/code/Ecosire/Easypaisa.

The extension registers a proper Magento payment method implementing the gateway command/service contracts (Magento\Payment\Gateway), wired through di.xml with request builders, response handlers and a value handler pool. At checkout the customer selects Easypaisa and is taken via a hosted redirect to Easypaisa's secure page to authorize a wallet or linked-bank payment, then returns to your store. We do not store card or wallet credentials on your server, which keeps your PCI scope minimal.

Server-to-server verification callbacks confirm the real payment state before an order is invoiced — an Observer on sales_order_place_after plus a dedicated controller endpoint reconcile the gateway response, guarding against spoofed redirects. Refunds are issued from the Magento admin (Credit Memo → online refund) through the gateway's refund command, with full ACL so only authorized roles can act. All amounts settle in PKR; currency, sandbox/production credentials, button label and sort order are configured under Stores → Configuration → Sales → Payment Methods via system.xml (credentials encrypted in core_config_data).

Yes. The module uses standard Magento payment gateway service contracts and di.xml wiring, so it runs on both Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. Checkout rendering is supported on both the default Luma theme and Hyvä.

How are refunds and failed payments handled?

Refunds are issued from the Magento admin by creating a Credit Memo and selecting the online refund, which calls the gateway's refund command. Failed or abandoned redirects leave the order in pending_payment; verification callbacks reconcile the true state, and successful payments move the order to processing with an invoice.
