The build includes retry handling driven by GoCardless webhook events and updates the WooCommerce order/subscription status accordingly, with optional customer notifications. Refunds are initiated from the WooCommerce order screen and synced back through the GoCardless API.

No. Mandate authorisation happens through GoCardless's hosted Billing Request flow, and the plugin stores GoCardless references and tokens — not raw bank account details.
