The app subscribes to Shopify's orders/create, orders/updated and orders/paid webhooks, then evaluates each order against the rule set you define — line items, SKUs, destination country/province, shipping method, order value, payment method, risk level, tags, and metafields. Matching rules apply order, customer and product tags, set priority/SLA flags, and can route the order to the correct fulfillment location using Shopify multi-location inventory, or split a single order into multiple fulfillment orders (e.g. dropship SKUs vs. warehouse stock).

High-risk orders are read from Shopify's fraud signals and held automatically — placed on hold or flagged for manual review before they reach your 3PL. A bulk retro-tagging job lets you apply new rules across historical orders so your reporting and segments stay consistent. Every write goes through the Admin GraphQL API with idempotency, so re-processing never double-tags.
