The app gives shoppers a pickup option at checkout scoped to each location, validated against multi-location inventory so a store only appears when stock is genuinely on hand. Pickup orders flow into a staff queue rendered inside an embedded Shopify-admin surface (Polaris UI, App Bridge session tokens), where associates pick, pack, and mark orders Ready for pickup — firing customer SMS/email notifications through your configured provider.
On the customer side, a hosted curbside arrival check-in page lets shoppers tap "I'm here," capture their vehicle and bay, and alert the counter in real time. At handoff, staff confirm the customer with an order-code / ID verification step before the order is closed.
Under the hood we use the Admin GraphQL API for orders, fulfillmentOrders, and inventoryLevels; subscribe to orders/create, orders/updated, and fulfillment webhooks with HMAC verification; persist pickup state, arrival timestamps, and pickup-window scheduling in app-owned tables plus order metafields so data stays queryable in Admin. Auth is standard OAuth with offline tokens and least-privilege scopes.
